My wife and I wanted a new garage door since our old-swing up one was looking pretty beatup. Plus we did not have an opener. We called and emailed 3 companies including Whitby Garage Doors in April. They were the only ones to get back to us. So we got a quote and placed an order. We got a call a month later that our door was in and we set up an install date about 1 week later. I cleaned out the garage and the door was installed with only 1 issue. The windows we ordered hadn't arrived so they put in generic ones until the correct ones arrived. The correct windows were installed for us while we were at work 1 week later. Overall, I'm very satisfied with the garage door and opener. The aluminum capping was also done shortly after installation and didn't require me to be at home either. Whitby Garage Doors is a very reliable company. I would recommend them to others looking for a new garage door or opener.

I had attempted to change an electrical switch myself but noticed that one of the wires was actually cut and had broken off when I touched it. So I called Hotwire since the job had just moved beyond my skill set. We arranged a time 2 days later. On the day of the repair, the electricians arrived early (with notice). They took care of the problem within an hour as well as answered a couple questions I had about other electrical issues in my house. They put down drop sheets and vacuumed up their mess before leaving. Good service. And the guys who came by were professional and courteous. The price was a bit much but when you want good work, you have to pay for it.

I have used A Marco before for other plumbing needs so I didn't have to look too far to find a plumber when I noticed a pipe was leaking in my basement. The previous homeowner had used an incorrect valve for our furnace humidifier which was now leaking. Roy came within 6 hours of our phone call. He diagnosed the problem right away and gave me an estimate. I gave him the okay and he was done in about a 1/2 hour with no mess. What impressed me most was his diagnoses of a problem with our hot water tank. I mentioned to him some problems we were having with our hot water. Direct Energy said the issue was with our plumbing not the hot water tank. Roy told me what the issue was in under a minute. I called Direct Energy back and told them Roy's diagnosis and they had someone come out and take a second look. Lo and behold, Roy was correct. Knowledgeable and honest. That's why I'll keep using A Marco. Plus the pink anti-bullying shirts are a plus in my books.

My A/C broke down last week during the heat wave. I sent Reliable a service request via their website on Tuesday. After not hearing back and realizing how busy it is I gave them a call on Wednesday and I was referred to Liv. Liv called me back shortly and promised to come first thing Thursday morning as my 1 1/2 year old daughter was really feeling the heat. He arrived right on time (7 a.m.). He took his time to diagnose the problem while explaining the issues to me. After replacing the capicitor and topping up the refridgerant, my A/C unit is functioning even better then before. Very professional group and I will be using them for any future HVAC needs.

I called A Marco to inquire about getting a quote on removing a laundry tub. Unfortunately most new washers and dryers wouldn't fit in our laundry room. He arranged to have someone come in and take a look. Dave arrived on time and was very professional and provided an estimate on site. I booked to have them come in and do the work a couple days later. The work he did was excellent and the quote was exact. I recommended them to my parents who also had a clogged sink that same week.
