I am so happy I went with Purple Properties for our renovation. Jordan was friendly, informative, and thorough during the quoting process. He really took the time to go through what we wanted, made some suggestions, and took pictures and measurements. When the written estimate came in everything was detailed with costs for each item which is ultimately why we chose to hire them as they were already communicating clearly and listening to what we were looking for. We were excited to get things going when we met with Rowan to talk through the process and renovation plan. During the months of planning he was always available to answer my multitude of questions and arranged to meet with us at the different vendors to make our selections. He had great input and insight to help us end up with the best possible end product. Once the renovation started, Rowan took much of my stress away by managing all the moving parts, labour, and product delivery to ensure it was ready for installation at each stage. Even during global shipping issues and material shortages there were very few delays. He even pulled off a little magic to get our first choice floor delivered when it looked like it may have been delayed after being on order for 4 months. He communicated with us at each stage and I felt comfortable that everything was handled while we couldn't be on site everyday. We would stop in often though to have a look at what was going on and could go over small things as they came up so there wasn't any issues at the end (spot for painting, filling a knick in the door, pot light went out, etc). As part of the overall project we replaced all our windows in the house as well as the front and back door. Rowan made sure we had everything needed to apply for the government energy rebates (which requires an inspection prior to work commencing and again after installation). The quality of work that Rowan and his team do is superb. Everything is installed cleanly, the paint lines and trim look top notch, the floor is straight and level and without gaps. The kitchen is gorgeous and the quartz installation is perfect so the veining continues up the wall. Very happy with the end result and will definitely call Rowan and Purple Properties for my next project.

As a recent homeowner, this was my first time needing to hire a contractor to do some work at the house. I spent a lot of time researching online and reading reviews and finally selected a number of companies to request quotes from. Coverall Roofing was included in the list as they had great reviews. George was extremely quick to get back to us and book at time for an inspection only 2 days later (at my convenience). My husband and I felt he was knowledgeable, professional, and personable from the first meeting. He went up on the roof (which not all companies did) then walked around the house with us and listened to our concerns. We were having some water come in when the snow melted in the spring. He went over some options for shingles, proper venting, ice and water shield, etc and gave his recommendations (which were not always the most expensive option but what he thought would work best in the situation). I felt he cared about the workmanship, quality and longevity of our roof to keep our home protected from the elements and wasn't all about the sale as some companies are. After receiving all our quotes we selected George and Coverall Roofing to complete the job. They came in near the middle of the pack price wise but we felt the would take the care and effort to do the job properly and that they cared about us as a customer and homeowners. I emailed George a couple times with questions and he always got back to me super quick. When it came time to schedule the work, he made sure to accommodate my husband's work schedule so they wouldn't be up there hammering when he was trying to sleep. We were advised the job may take 2 days as we have a mansard roof which takes a bit more time to do. On the day of the work, the crew arrived on time and promptly got to work moving and/or protecting our things outside (BBQ, AC, patio furniture, gardens). They were polite, professional and answered any questions we had when we came out to see the progress. They worked hard but efficiently and managed to get the job done in one long day instead of two. They ended up staying until dark to finish and made sure to put everything back and cleaned up all around the property. They installed some extra vents and downspouts to take care of the ice problem we were having (which was included in the original quote). George came back a couple days later to do a once over and see if we had any questions or concerns. He was able to take some photos for us using a drone which I thought was pretty cool. We received the final invoice which was the amount we had agreed on so no surprises there. Overall we were very happy with the communication, service and workmanship we received. It was a stress free experience for our first time hiring contractors. I would definitely recommend Coverall Roofing to anyone who asks.
