Scope of work: Existing 5'6" clear. Underpinned to 6' clear. New steel beam installed as existing wooden beam had been compromised. Relocated laundry room and washroom as well. Sump pit, pump and weeping tile. Backwater / backflow preventer installation. John and his crew showed up bright and early every day (7am-3pm) and got the job done on time and on budget. Worked on weekends when possible. Good communication throughout, no surprises honest and hard working. Kept job site as clean as they could. I am a a architect and interviewed 4 contractors and was recommended Maximum General by my structural engineer - Effectively double my usable space in my East York bungalow - highly recommended.

Found Brent / Classic Home Inspections on homestars through a quick Google search. Of course there was short notice and Brent came out the property on a Sunday Evening! He is a true professional in every sense of the word and did a great job of explaining everything and answering any questions. He did a very thorough job of inspecting all aspects and areas of the home including plumbing, electrical and structure. He provided his report at the end of his inspection and sent photos the same night! Although the home is only 7 years old and almost brand new, Brent found foundation problems that came up to several hundred dollars worth of repairs. We used his report to successfully get the seller to do the repairs. He responded in a timely manner, is well organized, on time and punctual. His pricing is very reasonable and service top notch. You really do get piece of mind with Brent, and it is not surprise why he’s at the top of the list. What can I say? Don’t mess with a Classic. Thanks Brent!
