We had issues with the central vacuum bag not seeming to fill up even though there was suction through the system. Also the pipes to the vacuum were collecting black dust at the turns (on the outside of the pipes) in the utility room where the vac resides. So we thought there must be a leak or several (at each joint?) from it being installed poorly. Turns out it was carbon dust being exhausted from the very worn and disintegrating motor rotors that were on the verge of seizing, and the dust settling in the pvc pipes of the system due to the static charge. They took the unit back to the shop and repaired/rebuilt it. We also had them check the head and put a cover on the hose. They came back and reinstalled it the next day, cleaned the pipes of carbon dust and checked the system. Technician was nice and thorough. Showed us that our older powered-head was actually better and how to clean the bristles (I.e. the roller on that one can be removed. We had inherited two for some reason and just used the newer looking one). All in all, happy with the company, work done, the person who came to the house and the price for it all.
