Chris cuts grass for us as needed, aerates lawns, does whatever he is asked. He is quick, focused and efficient. He dug up several patches of our lawn where we had weeds we just couldn't get rid of and then lay new sod. He responded quickly to our request, and did the job well and in a tidy fashion.
This company came in and cleaned all the carpets in our house, effecitively and efficiently. They gave advice about how to maintain the carpets and how to clean them. They also have a deal where you can get high traffic areas done for a reduced price within six months of the previous cleaning.
Repaired a Best Braun Range Hood
The light on a very expensive range hood worked intermitently. One electrician came to look at it and said he couldn't fix it. Another suggested we replace the thing but it must have cost thousands of dollars (previous owner had installed it). Thankfully, Lincoln Appliance sent someone for a reasonably charged estimate who was able to order the part and repair it. We can now see what we're cooking.
I had three pieces of furniture reupholstered. Two contemporary chairs were very well done, but an antique fainting couch is inferior workmanship, which is a pity since it is the most vaulable of the pieces. My issue is that the endge of the couch which is very visible looks bumpy and lumpy. The covering "ribbon" stops/runs out and resumes in the middle when it should have been in a less prominent spot or one piece of ribbon should have been used. Besides that, I had asked for piping not thie band which was used. I've been told to go back and complain but it was four years ago and I should have complained when it was delivered, but didn't. The couch had originally been filled with horsehair and used antique tacks and I was reluctant to recover it fearing the antique value would be lost but was persuaded when someone said, is it usable without reupholstering? The final comment I have is that consumers should not be shy or reluctant to refuse inferior workmanship.
