I have used this company a couple of times. The 1st was many years ago, when I 1st moved into my current home. While the home inspection had suggested I had many years left on my roof, I unexpectedly had a leak. Huh! Groves was recommended to me by a former roofer/neighbour. I had a couple of other roofing companies in to quote, one that had done the roof at a previous home. 2 told me I had to have the whole roof replaced....$$$ Groves inspected and advised that they could repair the section where I was having trouble....clearly for substantially less money than a whole new roof! So, based on my neighbour's recommendation, that's what I chose. I respected his honesty.Single mom, new home and mortgage, I was glad to save the $$$. MANY problem free years later , when the renovation tax credit was available, I decided to have the whole roof reshingled. Guess who I called.There was no question. They came in and did a great job....

I hired this company after they had performed similar work for my neighbour. The work looked fine when it was completed in March. However, by spring/summer, the aluminum fascia was buckling/warping. Not only does it look bad, it allows for water penetration behind the fascia. The owner/operator, Murray Chousky, did not respond to any of many phone calls & messages. With a bit of research , I discovered that the materials had been installed incorrectly and did not allow for the thermal expansion and contraction of the aluminum. It needs to be reworked.Clearly, he had no intention of honouring the one year warranty and fix it, make it right. Not only will this cost me money, but the time and aggravation is the worst!! I've learned a lesson here...I wish I had done more research. If I had only googled this company , checked with the BBB. Save yourself...and find someone else! I'm taking the time to write this review to save the next person.
