We had a complete makeover using wooden shutters for the upstairs and two bedrooms downstairs and we are delighted with the results. The blinds add privacy while not sacrificing aesthetics. Neighbours have complimented us and we are now, presently, thinking of adding more wood shutters in the family room basement. Measurements taken were accurate and the service was exemplary. Lots of patience was shown as we decided which way to go. Couldn't be happier with the outcome.

In response to an ad in the paper, we visited the storeroom and enquired about thermal shades. With time and further consultation we decided wooden shutters would be more appropriate for the living room. We had much advice over the phone where measurements along with price estimates were given.

BBG carpentry came highly recommended from this webpage. We had intended expanding the height of two closets but after recommendations from John decided to stay with the original dimensions but add two towers with two bars on either side from which to hang the clothes. John’s advice was invaluable; he kept us informed either through the phone or emails, completed the work on time, and most importantly completed everything to perfection while allowing for on the spot tutoring about what was happening. I learned a lot from this undertaking and while I seldom pass on perfect scores to anyone, I have no hesitation in awarding John an Olympic gold medal for excellence. Very grateful and happy with the work. As an aside--John deserves a Monty Python award for humour for his ability to tell funny stories.
