Where some companies are satisfied to simply guess a few prices over the phone, Price X for a base model (i.e. cheap) 40 gallon and Price Y for a base model (i.e. cheap) 50 gallon (and surprise you with the price increases when gas lines, water lines and venting need to be changed), we prefer to tailor a quote specifically for our customers - there are so many innovations in water heaters these days, from tankless to high recovery tanks, that phone quotes just don't cut it! Every home is different, everyone's hot water needs are different - we only give exact pricing on (as you said) the higher-quality products.
