My wife and I interviewed several landscape designers before deciding to hire Derek Tiessen and Glen Echo Nurseries. They truly understood the vision we had for our backyard oasis and delivered it on time and on budget. Waltec, the foreman, along with Robert and Christian were amazing. When I would return home at the end of the day, they would show me every little detail of their days work. Their pride in their work and the craftsmanship shown confirmed we had hired the right company. As a result we have received nothing but compliments on the landscaping from friends, family and perfect strangers. - Do your homework. Call several companies and ask to be shown several jobs they have done. Glen Echo, for example have brought several potential clients for tours of our yard to show the quality of their work. Make sure the design represents what you want...remember, you have to look at it for a lot longer than the landscaper!
