After receiving a couple of quotes from other companies we had Dave (the owner) from Reliable come by. His quote on a new HE Goodman furnace and A/C was well below the rest and Dave impressed us as a guy who was very professional and very honest. He went out of his way to warn us off low value bells and whistles that others had tried to sell us. Installation was fast -- just a couple of days after our meeting. A crew of three great guys came and put everything together. Very professional and tidy. Just as they were finishing up the installation, our new hot water tank (supplied by another company) died. They got their tools back out, dug a replacement part out of their van and fixed the problem. No charge. Immediately after we got our new furnace our gas consumption took a tumble. We expected that. However we got another pleasant surprise. If you have a smart meter you can view your daily hydro consumption at the Toronto Hydro site. Literally the day after installation our hydro usage flattened out at about 80% of what it had been. That was very neat. Thank you Dave and your guys. Great job. Anne from Markland Wood

We called three companies for quotes for windows on the back of our house (11 windows including an 8 foot sliding glass door). After some dickering, Alex from Canadian Choice gave us the best price, included a new front door (and sidelights) and satisfied us that their windows were good quality. They installed exactly on the agreed schedule. The installers were very professional, friendly and happy to answer all our questions. We’ve since had the house draft-proofed which involves pressure-testing all openings. Guess what. Our new windows were tight as a drum. And look good too. Anne in Markland Wood
