The folks at Clera replaced four old, shoddy basement windows in our 1925 brick home. I'd called three companies in the Niagara region before settling on Clera, won over by their pricing (which was actually better, due to a sale) and their online reviews. Sure enough, they did a terrific job—so much so that a dude replacing our water meter asked who did them, because he's looking to replace his own and thought they looked great. My one complaint with Clera would be the time: they said the windows would take 6-8 weeks, which should have been done before Christmas. I ended up calling them mid-January after not hearing from them for 10 weeks, and they were installed two weeks after that. Since I ordered them at a busy time (beginning of November), I don't hold this against them, but if you're on a strict schedule (which we were not), it's worth considering.

From the first email, George was responsive and helpful. Between the home inspection itself and the time we spent on the phone -- not to mention the numerous other emails I inundated him with, asking extra questions about our future house that I wanted an opinion on -- George more than earned the fee. Glad to have found him.
