I hired this company to do a full house deep clean 2500 sqft. I did not have a good experience. They showed up several hours late. The cleaning company sent 6 different cleaners at various times to clean. There was constantly someone new coming to relieve a cleaner who left and as result didn't have a clue what had been cleaned or hadn't. Not to mention who wants that many random strangers in their home. Very unorganized. They quoted and were to clean inside and out of the cupboards. The staff would not clean inside the cupboards as they said everything had to be removed before they arrived. That was not what I was told on my quote and the cupboards did not get cleaned. They were to clean the walls and baseboards, but would not remove scuff's that required some elbow grease nor would they clean higher then a 5 foot person could reach which isn't exactly clean walls. Most of the walls got forgotten about or missed anyway due to the staff changes. Furniture did not get vacuumed, entry way was left uncleaned and filthy after so many people came in and out to do this clean, baseboards were mostly all missed as well. The cleaners would not clean inside the walk in closets as they said that would invade my privacy even though I was there advises them too (just being lazy). They would not move things off shelves to clean (apparently I was suppose to chuck everything on the floor if I wanted the area wiped (then they wouldn't have vacuumed though so you basically chose the floors or shelves). They charge $90/man hour for cleaning. Those are journeyman trades quality rates for poor service.

Dean with Chinook Exteriors was one of the best estimating experiences I have had to date. He came out to estimate and was polite and extremely accommodating. Dean did everything plus more he said they would and had ideas beyond what I wanted done to make things look even better. My installer Mathieu showed up on time with his amazing dog and completed the job. He was an absolute beauty and my kids loved watching his dog out back. The quality if work was nothing short of amazing. Chinook needs to come back once I put some cladding on to re-hang a spout, but I have little doubt they wont come back and complete this job. Chinook was priced fairly (as much as 50% better in some cases then others). They got started on the job when I asked and created no hassle for me whatsoever. I still haven't even been asked for payment. This is not a fake review, but a genuine review from a very happy homeowner who would be more then willing to refer if Chinook ever needed a reference. Lakis's painting was to good to be true. I recently hired Miguel and his brothers to paint my recently finished basement. The job was an unfinished new development approximately 1000 ftsq. I requested quotes from over 10 painting companies and went with Laki's based on price and how genuine their personalities were. They showed up on time every day and accommodated my schedule entirely. Laki's respected my home and family like no other trade I had come across to date. Their work was flawless. I am very picky when it comes to trades and could not find a single imperfection. On top of all this their price was significantly lower then anyone else. I would only recommend improving on the lack of dust control practices used ( quarantine work area, air flow/ventilation techniques). Going forward I will not even think twice to refer Lacki's and use them for any paint project that should arise. Thank you Miguel and family for restoring my faith in fair, respectable and quality trades. One in a million. I honestly mean this.

Mike did a great job at building me a custom cabinet. He was affordable and very accommodating. He gave me a few options in various price ranges and wasn't focused on influencing the highest priced option. The end product was flawless. Highly recommend.

Andy and his crew did an amazing job. They showed up on schedule and at 7am sharp and stayed until at least 5 pm every day until the job was complete. If I had any concerns at all they were immediately addressed without question. They were extremely respectable and trust worthy leaving in my house unsupervised. Neighborhood painters came in on average with the several estimates I had gotten. I primarily chose Andy to do the project for his excitement to land this job and do the best work possible. That means allot to me. Often the contractor makes you feel like your working for him on his schedule which is not the way this process works anymore in Calgary. I have had a lot of bad experiences with contractors and the poor quality of work and disrespect that the boom in Calgary has caused. I will assure you Andy is 100% committed to you and the job he is working on. I will not even consider another painter for my remaining time in Calgary. 5 star review not because I feel obligated to leave it, but because neighborhood is the real deal and deserves it. Job well done everyone involved.
