Had no contacts/connections to a tree removal company and used HomeStars to source a company. After reading a number of positive reviews, I contacted TTR. From the initial communication through to the work being completed, I could not have been more pleased. Everyone from office staff, to the crew to the owner, Aaron, were courtesy, prompt and professional. It only took 1 week from initial contact to cutting down 10 very large trees. For all the development delays we've had, this experience was very, very positive. I would absolutely recommend Aaron and team and will definitely use them in the future

Found Ben through Homestars. After reading the great reviews I contacted him for a preliminary discussion about updating/expanding an older family home. From first contact, Ben has been very responsive, transparent and fair. Just as important, he managed our expectations and advised what was, and wasnt possible/acceptable to the city. Ben ensured we stayed on track and within city guidelines and bylaws. It saves time, money and disappointment to be aligned from the start. We successfully passed the committee of adjustment review and are progressing towards detailed drawings and permit applications. Ben has been, and continues to be, a valuable partner in our redevelopment process. I would highly recommend him and would definitely partner with him on future projects.

Sal took the time to visit the site and explained the landscaping work to be completed. Considering it was the end of the season the work had to be completed within a week. Sal was able to deliver on that commitment. He did great work. Would definitely use and recommend Sal.

Contacted Max after seeing HomeStar reviewed. He returned my call within an hour and was available the next day to repaid a faulty AC part. Called Max the following week for a separate matter (gas stove hook up) and he was able to complete the job that same day! Great working with Max. Quick service at a reasonable price. Cant askf or more. Would definitely recommend and would certain use his services for future work

I was looking to convert a wall with 2 oversized windows to a 14 foot bi-folding door (the first stage of our new indoor/outdoor living space). Understanding that the project required structural work, I researched a number of companies on Home Stars. Alex from ALDO Structural is one of the contractors I discussed the project with. From our first call / onsite meeting and throughout the stages of the project, Alex was in constant communication on the requirements and specs of the project. He was thoroughly knowledgable. Because of the poor spring weather we had to change the timing of the project a few times. Alex was very accommodating and changed his schedule to align with the door installation to ensure the home was not left exposed. Alex and his team worked diligently and clean while ensuring that minimal disruption was made to the house and our living conditions. The work was completed on time and on budget in 4 days. On the 5th day the city inspector passed the structural part of the permit. The inspector commented “a very good job done”. Being nervous going into such a large structural project I came away feeling that we absolutely made the right decision with Alex. I will definitely be engaging Alex again on future projects and would certainly recommend him. Thank you Alex for your professionalism and commitment to the project. I can only hope to find contractors for other aspects of the project with the same level of honesty and integrity.
