Having recently moved from a townhouse to an apartment in South Surrey, I had no hesitation in contacting Mainland Ventures again for an estimate for proposed renovations. The 1100 sq ft apartment is approximately 26 years old and no updates had ever been done. So I met with Paul and discussed the options available within my budget for a complete renovation, floor to ceiling. We were able to find a plan that worked for both of us. So Mainland Ventures provided us with a complete painting of walls, ceilings and doors, new crown mouldings and baseboards, new carpets, new flooring in kitchen and bathrooms, new bathroom vanities and fixtures, new ceiling fans and lighting, new shower fixtures and glass doors. As well, Paul consulted us on the purchase of all new kitchen and laundry appliances. And all of this project fit within our budget !! Yay !! The next phase will be the kitchen countertops and cabinets which we hope to begin in the early spring. Naturally I will be calling Paul and his fantastic crew to do this work. They are always professional and meticulous in their work. Even other residents of our building commented on how polite and courteous they were compared to other contractors they had seen around before. Again Thank You Paul and Mainland Ventures. You kept me within my budget and kept our stress level at a minimum :-)

I was detecting a musty smell in our main bathroom. I called Paul at Mainland Ventures and he came out the next day and determined that moisture had gotten into the wall behind the shower. Likely from cracks in the tiles or grout, they were the original tiles from over 20 years ago. He gave me an estimate to remove the existing shower stall, replace the drywall and install a new modern design shower with new tiling and fixtures. We decided to have the old toilet replaced at the same time also as it looked out of place with the new shower installation. His quote for this work, including materials, was very reasonable so we hired Mainland Ventures to do the job. Once again, Paul and his crew from Mainland Ventures performed this project with little or no disruption to our normal routines. Another successful interaction with Mainland Ventures.

I downsized to a townhouse in Surrey a couple of years ago after living for over 20 years in a home in nearby North Delta. My neighbour here had contracted Mainland Ventures for their renovation type work and suggested I contact them, which I did. Paul met with me within a couple of days and brought along some great suggestions on materials and designs to renovate the ensuite bathroom in my unit. I signed a contract with him that same night and within 3 weeks the renovation was completely finished and it looks absolutely wonderful. Also, I am the President of the Strata Council at the complex where I live and I will be bringing forward a motion at our next council meeting to add Mainland Ventures as one of our reliable and qualified contractors for various maintenance work we may require.
