Over Charged & Damage to new Property
We moved in October/2018 to Innisfil, ON, from Newmarket , ON. Three guys showed up in a 26 ft truck, we said that looks to small, they walked around the house and said it should all fit and started loading. We arrived in Innisfil with 2/3rds of our stuff. The Driver then backed in to the top of our new Garage doing some damage to the siding soffit & shingles, his comment that's just a scratch. We put a claim in with this Company as we were instructed to do by TOP TIER and are still waiting for the repair OVER 3 MONTHS LATER. Last e-mail from them January 8th, offering $175.00 CASH or would we like it repaired. I said I would like it repaired. Can't get through by phone and now my e-mails are bouncing back so they've blocked me. The worst move ever. Charged $700.00 over quoted price in the middle of our move ( take it or leave it) we were told by there dispatch & and the guy that quoted us at 8:00 at night on the street in Newmarket. Quote done by Top Tier moving representative in my home. So no excuses they new what we had. Never use this Company , you will regret it. This is the short version of the continuing nightmare. Hello Ray, were glad we caught you today and we talked about this. We offered you compensation or a repair man, the repair man was sent out. All emails were sent to trash because you sent one everyday for 3 months. All insurance claims take between 1-3 months. If items on moving day are NOT packed then the charges can differ as stated and quoted BEFORE the second trip and charges on your credit card. We'll work on this internally for you and get this fixed like we discussed.
