After years of using my Frigidaire stove without any issues it started beeping continuously, display an error message and shutting down when the oven was in use. I use my oven to cook, bake and also as a substitute for a microwave, so having it shut down was not only inconvenient, it was extremely frustrating. A friend recommended Activepro Appliance Services, so I called and made an appointment. The technician arrived on time. He was professional, friendly and courteous. After conducting a thorough diagnostic he determined that a new clock was needed. He recommended replacing the clock but advised that replacing the clock would be expensive and I should consider getting a new stove. He was unable to give me a quote but said he would contact several suppliers to get the most reasonably priced clock and would call back with the cost. Before he left, he was kind enough to put a stop-gap in the stove which allowed me to continue using the oven without it beeping (very annoying) and subsequently shutting down. I was immensely grateful and thanked him profusely. The technician called within two days with a quote and I decided that replacing the stove would be more beneficial. I am eternally grateful for his honesty. His recommendation to consider replacing the stove prior to providing the quote to replace the clock afforded me the time to make the most favourable, economical decision. The stop-gap also allowed me to delay purchasing a new stove and when I bought one it was on sale. I highly recommend Activepro Appliance Services. The technician is knowledgeable, sincere and thorough; and the service is exceptional!
