We investigated several new communities for a new home, including across south Calgary (mostly and mainly) and Okotoks. Decided on Morrison homes for their design concept, location and desire to work with the purchaser to get the home that was expected. Very pleased with Morrison. They were willing to be flexible and gave welcome options for consideration. We enjoyed the purchasing experience with just enough get up and go with think about this.... The home that was built has a variety of modifications to accommodate occasional wheel chair access, open concept layout, many personal preferences of ours, the purchasers. We appreciated the recommendations from the sales person and Morrison group through the design period. Happy with construction workers - rough and finish; inside and out. We had only one issue that concerned us but Morrison rectified with full support. We were happy(!) with the response as we hadn't had such a dedicated response previously. Very pleased with the house, the construction and the experience. Family and friends are impressed with design and layout when they come over for a visit. Thanks, Morrison group. (Currently been in house for >8 months.) Two Year Update (JUL2020): We have been in our Morrison home for a bit over two years now. The new home euphoria has worn down and we have more neighbors now. We wouldn't change the wording of the original post and we stand by it; especially after seeing some of the less stellar construction that occurred around us. What we see, more obviously now, is that Morrison WAS thorough in their design and planning and rough and finish construction (the whole of the process). Their focus on providing a complete and successful home build is still greatly appreciated.
