We hired Towne Contracting in July/August 2016 for a reno job to a house we had just purchased. We were nervous as we needed the first part done before our move in date, and it was a tight time schedule, so I needed reliable contractors. We were relieved when they started when they said they were going to, and were there every day. Our job was fairly significant and involved knocking down a wall, creating a walk-through in another, replacing all carpet and laminate with hardwood, painting throughout, plus a couple of other jobs. As with any renovation, hurdles arose that we had to make decisions on. Due to what I'd read in the other homestars reviews, I felt confident in asking Steve to make a fair recommendation that I would be happy with. We were pleased with how everything turned out and the prices were competitive as well. Not only that, the crew were awesome. Steve, Dan, Milan, Tom, Andre and Stuart were a pleasure to have in the house. They were super friendly, funny and respectful of the space they were in. We will for sure use Towne again when we tackle our kitchen and bathrooms.

We used Raintree after a recommendation from a friend. We did get three quotes and they were competitive. Carmen was a DREAM to deal with - so easy-going and nothing was a problem. We had a complicated situation with putting a roof on a house we had purchased while the sellers were still living there (roof needed urgent replacement). Carmen took it all in her stride - going between our house and the new house as the situation required. The roof looks awesome and the clean-up was thorough with no nails or anything left behind. Carmen then left a beautiful planter of flowers on our porch when it was all over with. I highly recommend this company!

We just used Arby Cartage to move us for the second time, and they were brilliant yet again. The guys were super efficient and had the job completed in less time than estimated. Nothing was broken and every care was taken in moving the furniture so that it didn't damage any walls, flooring or carpet. I recommend these guys to all my friends and so far they have been super happy too!

We booked this company based on these reviews, and wow, we were not disappointed! Mark and Peter came by to install our dishwasher, washing machine and dryer. They were very friendly and helpful and also very well presented (many of these guys come looking dirty and smelly). There was an existing issue with our dishwasher which meant that Mark had to come back the next day, Saturday, to finish the job - and he didn't even charge us another call-out fee for that. They arrived when they said they were going to come, and the price was exactly what we were quoted. They also moved around our existing appliances for us, and then took them away when Mark returned. No complaints, and always friendly and smiley. I couldn't recommend this company more!

I booked Arby Cartage based on the excellent ratings on this site and they did not disappoint! Arby was a customer service star, extremely friendly and helpful, and the coordinator of the operation. His staff were friendly, professional, fast and efficient. They took the utmost care of our furniture and took great care with the polished wooden floors at our new house. I could not recommend them more and will definitely be booking with them next time we move!
