When deciding to upgrade the mechanicals of our older home, our neighbour referred Aire Serv (Calgary) as they were very satisfied with Aire Serv prices, workmanship and customer service when replacing their Furnace and adding an AC unit. We met with Zach Baker of Aire Serv and he took the time to listen to our needs, preferences, and the plans for our home. Zach was very informative about our current system, its limitations and what he would recommend for our home and why. He was never pushy or tried to up sell us on anything. After our initial meeting, Zach followed up by sending us all the product information we would need to make an informed decision as well as an initial quote in which he gave a detailed description of the work to be completed, why it needed to be done, and a cost breakdown of all the work and subsequent components as well as the information on excellent component warranties. Zach was right at the top of our shortlist of companies with his pricing and the scope of work included in his price. He came back for a second meeting to review/add/change the project details and again he was very helpful with his information and making sure we were comfortable with what he was recommending for us. We settled on a full system overhaul (Lennox Furnace, Air Conditioning & Pure Air Filtration; Navien tankless hot water; Waterboss 950 whole house water treatment; Honeywell Steam Humidifier and programmable Humidistat/Thermostat). When we had completed all the details of the quote and we agreed to have Aire Serv do all this work for us Zach scheduled another meeting to plan out the job with his chief installer Ryan Evanshen. They were both excited about the project and together they came up with even more ways to make this a special build. What a great decision it was to entrust Aire Serv to install all our new mechanicals! We found that they were extremely accommodating around our work schedule and were respectful of our home as they worked in it. They never rushed the job and were always mindful of their first priority which is that “quality comes first.” The level of build and the use of quality materials never disappointed and we were continually amazed at the time they took to get things right. We would like to thank everyone at Aire Serv who helped (Zach, Ryan, Scott and Evan) bring our home up to the highest standards of efficiency and comfort. It feels like we are living in a brand-new home! A special thanks to Ryan for his exceptional commitment to our project and his continual attention to detail – we truly appreciate all his work and effort. He brought his own element of artistry to this project and we were very impressed. As a former project manager for large apartment building developments, I have worked with many trades in the past and I can say with confidence that everyone at Aire Serv have been first rate professionals and great people to work with. We feel like we have made friends for life! We are also extremely satisfied with the way that all the components they recommended work together and complement each other to offer us a level of interior comfort that we have never experienced before. In addition, they have been really great about explaining the system to us, to make sure we understand how things operate and how to perform regular maintenance to ensure low operating costs and flawless operation well into the future. Zach was also very helpful with applying for all available rebates from both the manufactures and through the Government of Alberta Efficiency Rebate Program.
