We contacted several other movers about our move to Salt Spring Island but were impressed with Ferguson's guaranteed pricing. The quote was only a few hundred dollars more than the other companies, but considering the vagaries of the ferry service to Salt Spring, we felt this guarantee was much more acceptable than paying on an hourly basis. The movers were sent over early in the morning, and rather than have them work late and take an evening ferry home, Fergusons put the 4 workers up in a local hotel for the night so they could be fresh the next day. They did the packing up of the kitchen, and everything arrived perfectly, and all the furniture was very well protected for transport. They also were very helpful with assembling the furniture and placing it in the various rooms in our new home- even when I changed my mind a couple of times about where I wanted things! This was a complicated move as it involved prolonged storage and uncertain dates but our move manager, Quinn, was always flexible and communicated well.

Kurt is an excellent contractor. He is calm, easygoing and very knowledgeable. He helped us design the project; showed us pictures of similar things he had done (including his own house); began the installation when he said he would; made an improvement part way along; and finished on time. You will find cheaper installers but you will be hard pressed to find this kind of quality and service.

Rob Dale at Springwood Constuction is an amazing contractor. He helped us with everything from design to finishing and everything in between in. The project took 7 months and we are very pleased with the result. Everyone who comes into our 'new' home is impressed with the workmanship and attention to detail. We highly recommend Rob to anyone who needs a reliable, trustworthy contractor at a very reasonable price.

We dealt with Mike Williams in their storefront at 123 East 1st in North Vancouver. He was exceedingly helpful in finalizing the design as well as choosing the appropriate cabinets. He came to the house when it was still under construction to measure everything out and produced computer-generated drawings. The installer did such a first-class job even our builder was impressed.

We moved over 1000 square feet worth of furniture and household goods, plus some gardening tools and supplies from near UBC to Upper Lonsdale in North Vancouver. It was a long day but James and his crew were up to the task and gave us perhaps the best move we've ever had - and we've moved quite a few times during the past 35 years. I recommend them highly.
