We needed to replace the gutter on our home and called every company in the yellow pages. Continuous Gutters were the only ones who returned our call. Although the booking date was several weeks away, we made the appointment. The job was completed on-time and on-budget. It would have been nice to have the job done sooner, but no one else was available. I was very satisfied with the final outcome. Highly recommended - just don't expect the job done tomorrow.

We had recently purchased an oil painting by a renowned Canadian artist and wanted to have it properly cleaned and appraised. We took it to Hampton Gallery, as they carry other works by the same artist. The quote for the cleaning was fair. The job completed was excellent and we received a signed and sealed appraisal for the painting. I was very satisfied with the service and the associate was very respectful of our piece of art.

Our garage door would not open (car stuck in the garage) and Myron's service crew were on-site within 4 hours. Remarkable! A great servicing of the motor and replacement of the rollers that would have potentially broken within a few months - causing another service call. This saved us several hundreds of dollars. Cleanup of all materials was excellent and service was very professional. Highly recommended.

The selection at Mulberry Bush is wonderful and the prices are great. They are very picky with their standards for receiving items. I can always find what I am looking for, and more. Their sales are great too. They also have a wonderful selection of toys, some new, and sporting gear for kids. They also have great selection of outdoor toys and strollers. Would be nice if they had a bag sale like other consignment stores. Parking can be an issue along the busy street.

I purchased a very expensive replacement hose/power-head and accessories kit from Findlay's a few years ago. Our power-head broke so I took it in, hoping to have it fixed. The staff looked up my account and realized that I was still under the manufacturer's warranty (I was not aware of this - nor did I know where my receipt was!) They did one better than fixing - they replaced my power-head! The only cost was a service charge for labour. A few weeks later, my hose connection was not working. I again returned to Findlay's and they replaced the entire hose with a brand new one. I am extremely satisfied with the service provided and the staff at Findlay's. They are helpful, informative and very resourceful! I would recommend them to anyone looking for a vacuum.

The initial associate help was excellent - lots of information provided along with details, specifications of various options etc. We purchased the appliance, delivery date was set but was changed 4 times by the store. When the product finally arrived, it was the wrong model. We returned that one, no problems, however when our proper appliance arrived and was installed by City's install professionals, it did not work. We had to argue very strongly, that we didn't want the NON-functioning appliance to stay in our house. They took it back, and we decided to cancel our order with City Furniture. That process was a real hassle, but was finally completed when we tracked down the store manager. We will not return to this store - too many hassles. Very disappointed.

I purchased a 55gal freshwater tank for our home, along with several fish. I was happy to hear that Petland offers a 7 day guarantee on their fish. Hoping I wouldn't have to use this, I did keep the receipt. Unfortunately, some of our fish did not survive their first week in our new aquarium. After returning the fish, and providing a water sample (which was tested for various qualities) we were told that we could replace the fish that were lost, or be provided with a store credit towards any other fish. We picked out several more fish, which, in turn, also had a 7 day guarantee. A few of these fish perished as well, and we were happy to report that they, too, were replaced with no questions asked. Petland's 7 day fish guarantee with keep us coming back to purchase our fish here for a very long time.

I had purchased a unique strawberry hauler last summer (2010) from Castles & Cottages, but had misplaced it for summer 2011 strawberry season. I went into the store looking for another, but they had none. I was told they were on special order, but that they would place an order right away. I placed my name in a call-back book to be informed when they would arrive. Very shortly after, I received the call that they had arrived. The store held my order for more than a week until I was able to come in and pick it up. The associates were very courteous and friendly.

The original cedar shake roof on our home was in need of a replacement. The look of our home required a material that looked similar to cedar - I didn't want the typical asphalt shingle look. Tony was replacing the roof of our neighbor, and I called over and asked that he come see us upon completion of his day. Tony came, took measurements and the following day came over with shingle samples that we would like. He also provided a very reasonable quote with all the additions we asked for (permanent roof anchors, etc) We were scheduled in for a roof replacement within 2 weeks. The workers were very respectful of our home, garden and property. The job was done quickly, efficiently and very professionally. The clean up was remarkable and beyond all expectations. With 2 young children, I was worried about nails being left behind etc - we found none. All rubbish was removed and we were left with a beautiful new roof. I highly recommend Tony's Roofing to anyone looking for a new roof.

We received a notification that our annual furnace servicing was due. I called the J Walsh & Sons store and was scheduled for 3 days later. I was very happily surprised, as this is a busy time for furnace servicing. The service man arrived a few minutes early and was very polite. He placed shoe covers on so not to soil our floors with his wet shoes. During the servicing, he informed me that certain elements of our furnace were getting old, but that they would last at least another season. He also cleaned out filter and the ignition pilot lights. The service was very professional and I was happy that I was not charged for unnecessary service. I will be using J Walsh again for all our furnace/AC and plumbing needs.
