The concrete pour was a huge piece used for testing a crane assembly and given the right prints, the turn around time from this contractor was very fast. They called me in to verify that everything is according to my desire and although some discrepencies were noticed, they were not severe enough to affect the overall concrete block, and changes that were required to be made were done by the next day. Very good job and fast.

The building they worked on is fairly new about 20 years old so it was much past the time to make sure the exterior brick walls were surveyed. The job was done very well, and the building looks completely fresh, like new. There were many letters we received praising how nice the building now looks. However, the consultants mentioned that although they did a good job, they did deviate from the contract and started making other repairs not required and charging us. Need to always be on the watch.

The job was to pour concrete into a preset base all prepared for the contractor. This was an important job as it is part developed by AECON. The company is known very well and is a large company, but they assigned inexperienced coed students for this pour and due to their lack of knowledge the whole project became a mess and we had to stop progress. Concrete can only be poured within a 90 min time limit from the time of mix. But they still went with the pour approx 2.5 hrs after initial mix. They should've sent someone who can take responsibility

Smid is very well known for their work on concrete repairs, I chose them for their expertise on appreciative work of past projects. They did a very good job and takes their job seriously with importance. The low recommendations is due to the high cost. But the cost is made up by the great finish on repairs.

We had Eagle come analysis some cracks and pits in a concrete slab above an underground parking garage and they came and gave a quote and finished their repair work. However, the issue with water proofing and the slope of the slab caused more issues than initially assumed. Eagle acknowledged that the problem wasnt fixed and honoured the warranty policy and repaired the damages. The only reason i gave a low recommendation score is that it shouldve been first in the first time.

They have been known to work on their own pace. Not necessarily the best to socialize with but they do get the job done. But they do have many years of expertise in the waterproofing field so when there is an issue reported by a resident, then they are quick to identify the problem and submit quotes for repairs.

The issue we were having was poor balcony flooring which was the roofing for the garage. Avenue were quick on meeting up and immediately determined the cause of leak and were very kind to assess the situation completely tests to confirm the problem. The job was done great, and is praised for their expertise. However, my only issue was receiving a quotation from them took much longer than expected. Three days ended up waiting almost a month. But at least the roof does not leak anymore.

Price is great, but they do not have the experience that many other companies who specialize in parking garages have. They are slow and tend to slack off a lot. The other issue with this contractor is that given a contract, there are specific rules and steps that are required to fulfill needs. They skipped many steps and were causing an issue with regulations of the city. They are not well known for garage repairs and claim they do, their other work is fine but just not garages.
