We accidentally overloaded one of the circuits at home, causing some of the electrical outlets to burn. Luckily, we were able to schedule in for an appointment with The Honest Electricians Inc. within the next day. They are easy to communicate with; their quote is straight forward, and the price is fair. Kyle showed up right on time for our appointment. He did a walkthrough with me to identify all the issues previously discussed plus additional work that were identified during the walkthrough. He took his time to explain all the tasks needed to be done prior to starting the job and provided some useful tips for preventative action. He was able to complete all the repairs within the original estimated time. He was professional, friendly and very thorough prep job to cleanup. My mower has been down for 4 weeks and I couldn’t stand how messy my yard was starting to look. My instinct tells me to go on Homestars and look for some help. DJDS Contracting Inc. received my request and provided a detailed estimate right away. I was able to book the service in for the next day! David from DJDS showed up right on the time the next morning. He was very courteous and professional. Prior to starting the job, he asked if I had any preferences and what to look out for on my property. He was able to complete the job sooner than expected. Besides completing the job quicker than I had estimated, he also did an AMAZING JOB. He was attention to detail and did an excellent job cleaning up after the job was done. Our hot water tank had finally given up after 20+ years of service. I posted a service request on HomeStar and was able to connect with Rocky Mountain Plumbing and Drain Cleaning. Ben from Rocky Mountain was able to stop by for a consultation session within the same day. He was on time and very courteous. During our consultation session, he provided different options for our water heater as well as some really good tips on our plumbing set up at home. I received a quote within the same day and was scheduled in the next morning! I was very thankful that Ben spent his Saturday communicating with me and scheduled me in right away so we could have hot water by Monday! The crew showed up on Monday and completed the installation of the new hot water tank plus additional furnace tune up service in a timely manner. They were very clear in communicating what needed to be done and provided status updates as the tasks progressed. They were very careful moving the tanks in and out of the house. They were professional, friendly and courteous. Upon completion of the project, Ben followed up with a phone call to check in and make sure everything went well. He also provided additional feedback on our furnace so that we could look into a solution to our ongoing problem with our furnace. Overall, I had a very pleasant experience with Rocky Mountain Plumbing and Drain Cleaning. I would not hesitate to refer them to my friends and family if they ever need any plumbing services. We are in the process of renovating our kitchen and needed the drywall repaired after we removed the tiles so I posted a request on HomeStars. Coyote Drywall was very responsive and clear in communications. We were able to set up a date for estimate within the first hour. During the estimate visit, James at Coyote Drywall was able to evaluate the situation and provided a cost effective solution to our need. Jorden was very professional and friendly. We initially got in touch with him to repair faulty switches, timer, wall plugs, towel warmer and to install a ceiling light. He took his time to diagnose over text/phone and provided a clear breakdown of their rate and what service the rate includes. Not only he was able to complete all the tasks in a timely manner, he also identified/fixed additional unsafe wiring that were done at the house which we were not aware of. We initially found Neighbourhood Painters Ltd. on HomeStars to help us finish part of the staircase of our home about 6 months ago. The owner Andy was able to provide a detailed estimate fairly quickly, explained what would be involved and approximately how long the job would take. We were very satisfied with the result and the rate is great so we decided to phone them back again last week to finish the rest of the house (Interior wall repairs + painting; Baseboard repairs + painting; Exterior door and window frames repair + painting).
