Had a very pleasant experience with Sapphiresurfaces Stair Builders. Kyle really stood out from a number of contractors that I had come to quote the job. He knew what he was talking about and his experience was clear. He wasn’t just trying to get the sale, and came across as a very genuine and trustworthy guy. Having now finished the project, I can attest to the truth of this. From start to finish, they did a great job. Jay and the guys worked very hard and put in long days ~ they weren’t here just to get the job done, but to do it right and it was obvious that they took a lot of pride in their work. I’m so happy that I was politely urged to stray from my original selections for a much better overall look. It was a big job: lots of stairs that I wanted the carpet removed on, new white spindles and risers, and stained steps to match existing floors. Where I originally wanted to keep the existing railings and posts, they helped me see that new ones would really enhance the job and it was entirely worth it. These guys are experienced professionals and know what they’re talking about ~ You’ll be in great hands. They really went above and beyond and I’m thrilled with the final look and the quality of work that went in. Thanks guys. I’ve already referred you to a friend :)

Had a great experience with Dortechinc. He was just supposed to come and do an install of a garage door opener that I already had. The job took longer than expected, only to learn that the system was faulty and it wouldn’t work. In the end, I was offered a new unit that he had at a reasonable price taking into account the extra time and labour. It was a fair exchange, and he was pleasant to work with. Would recommend.
