My family is very grateful to Marlon and Adrian for the excellent work they did at our home in Barrie. They went above and beyond to convert our ideas into finished work that we are extremely happy with. I call Adrian "the problem solver" and Marlon "the master of drywall and taping"! Adrian did extra work on his own initiative that he thought would be of value to us ex. installed closet door when the scope was to frame and dryall the closet only. Marlon went to the property on his own initiative multiple times to ensure the taping and sanding were to his high standards for completion. Initially I engaged Marlon to help build an extra closet in our basement which would also cover up unsightly roughed-in plumbing pipes. We were so impressed with the work that both, Adrian and Marlon did that we immediately hired them to drywall our laundry room/furnace room. The furnace room had a number or challenges which did not stop this team from moving forward to find the most efficient approach. Adrian was able to troubleshoot through any obtacle that would impact the final design and was able to frame and drywall everyting within 2 days. As I write this review, I am pleased to share that both of the projects above were completed on time, as promised and within the quoted budget. This team works fairly and honestly and will not rush the work just to meet your deadline if it means sacrificing the quality of workmanship. Both Marlon and Adrian do what they say they are going to do. They are highly responsible and respected our property throughout. They kept me fully posted throughout the project around what was happening. They both provided very accurate quotations on the labour time and materials needed to complete the work which I found to be really impressive. Besides their honesty and strong work ethic, they are genuinely great guys who are a pleasure to work with. We have already booked the services of D& Z Drywall Taping for the next project and highly recommend them to family, friends, clients and anyone reading this!

We had to find a qualified Gas Fitter to find and fix a leak that Enbridge detected in our line for a home we just closed on. We also needed to disconnect/cap off an old fireplace. We recieved about 3-4 quotes for the job but I must say that Boss Mechanical was the most proactive and honest in their approach from setting the appointment right through to having a qualified tecnician come out. They provided an estimated price range over the phone and said it would be finalized once the technician actually got to the site and had a chance to review. We had the pleasure of working with Joe who arrived right on time, let me know exactly what to expect and the fact that the work could take a few hours or be as quick as 1 hour. I felt confident that he was committed to resolving the issue as efficiently as possible and I wasn't wrong... to my own surprise, he was able to diagnose, fix and test the line and also cap off the fireplace line all within 1 hour. I will happily refer Boss Mechanical to others because of this experience. In fact, I have already reached out again to them to get a quotation for updating the water heater!

I was looking for a reputable company to help implement my vision for my apartment. After reviewing profiles of various vendors on HomeStars and reaching out to a number of them, Frans and his company Electrotech Synergy stood out as he was available to come out within 1 hour of my request to see the site. What also impressed me was his ability to quickly diagnose issues and plan an approach. He was also committed to following the code for electrical work (which is exactly what you want to hear as a prudent homeowner). I received a detailed quote shortly after his visit and to my surprise, his crew was available on Christmas Eve (today) to do the work. I had a few other companies also quote the job however, I found Electrotech Synergy to be the most reasonable in terms of service, price, experience and commitment to the job. We met on December 19th and I booked the job shortly thereafter and the original scope of work was fully completed today on December 24th! Omid and Mohammad arrived on time and came prepared with all the materials needed for the job. They provided expert advice throughout the day and we were able to collaboratively land on solutions wherever needed. The builder had poorly placed the plug for my water heater and furnace and Omid was kind enough to optimize the setup by lowering its placement. This is my first review on HomeStars and I was compelled to write it given the excellent service provided by Electrotech Synergy. I have already requested the guys to return in early January to implement under cabinet lighting, add new electrical outlets and add a motion sensor switch for my closet. I am happy to recommend this company to friends, family and clients based on the service I have received. I look forward to working with Frans, Omid, Muhammad and team again soon! Happy holidays!
