We were originally very happy with our Norwalk experience. Very helpful and attentive staff, who helped us pick fabrics and colours from their very large selection. They have a wide array of furniture to choose from and we liked the choice available. We ended up purchasing 2 Margo chairs. Unfortunately, our chairs arrived with the wrong stain on the legs and as a result had to be sent back to the factory in the States. After months of delay, they came back and the colour of the legs was still incorrect and they have only stained the legs part way up. I was quite shocked that they would actually deliver furniture with such obvious poor workmanship. So back they went again. We have finally received the chairs. The stain is still not exactly what we had originally ordered but at this point after almost 6 months after placing our orignal order, we just want to close the chapter of our Norwalk Furniture Idea experience. Although the company made efforts to rectify the problem and obliged us with 2 loaner chairs while we waited for our ordered chairs, emails and phone calls went unanswered, and it felt like they just could not be bothered with us after a while. Unfortunately what started out as a good experience, was spoiled by poor customer service. The chairs were from their Candice Olson Line, and I think she would be quite horrified at the state that these chairs came in. We definitely won't be shopping at Norwalk Furniture Idea again.
