An assisted review is collected by a contractor on behalf of the homeowner after their work is completed. The homeowner must confirm the text of the review and may make any changes she or he deems appropriate. The homeowner then assigns the contractor a review score out of 10. Assisted reviews receive the same scrutiny as other reviews and must follow our review guidelines.
After coming back from our vacation this past March we were shocked to find our already finished and carpeted basement had a leak. Before making a decision, we called four different companies to assess the situation. The Waterproofer was the obvious choice for their customer service, prompt response, and fair price. After a thorough examination of our basement, Steve identified where the leak was coming from and his suggestions were very realistic and up to the point. The other three companies told us we needed to do and replace many things that were not really necessary and when questioned about these, their answers were pretty vague and sounded condescending. When The Waterproofers finished the job we couldn't be happier about our choice. They completed the job on time, on budget, cleaned up everything and were a pleasure to deal with.
