We were having ongoing issues with our Kitchenaid freezer and were waiting for another appliance company to receive parts for the repair. After waiting 4 weeks, we decided to try a different repair company. My experience with Star Appliance Repair was top notch from beginning to end. Karina was pleasant and knowledgeable when I first called, and got back to me promptly to let me know they could get the parts and be onsite the following day. Vlad arrived within the service window, was extremely nice, and patiently answered all of my questions. I will not hesitate to call them again for future repairs!

John hooked up our new stove and installed a longer gas hose (the old one was too short). He also checked to make sure my furnace was functioning properly, free of charge. I trust John and will continue to call him for my hearing and cooling needs.

Luca removed our existing front door and frame and replaced with a new steel door and fiberglass frame. Throughout the process (before and after the install), he was very responsive and answered all of our questions promptly and thoroughly. Of the many door companies we contacted, he was the one we liked and trusted the most. We would not hesitate to use him again when we decide to replace our other doors.

We had a small wasps’ nest just below the edge of the roof, about 30 feet above ground. William provided a very reasonable quote and was out the next day to remove it. He also checked for nests around my property for no additional cost. I will definitely contact this company first if I have any pest control needs in the future!

When our 16 year old furnace wasn’t working properly on a very cold day, we put out a request for quotes on Homestars. John called and offered to come the next morning which was perfect, since we had no heat. He arrived promptly and was extremely polite and professional. He was totally transparent about costs for the service call and the labor before doing anything to ensure we were all on the same page. He determined that the furnace had a plugged drain pipe, so he cleaned it out and checked out the rest of the parts, which appeared to be in decent working order. John mentioned that the work he had done should last us until the end of the season but that we should consider buying a new furnace since our current furnace was near the end of its lifespan and provided a very resonable quote for the install of a new unit. When we need to get a new furnace installed we will contact john for sure!

Water was leaking from the furnace in the summer, and we had no idea of how to fix the issue ourselves. The technician came out and diagnosed the problem immediately, fixing the issue within a few moments. He was very patient and explained what the issue was, why it occurred and what we could do to fix it ourselves in the future. He also suggested we get a condensate pump to prevent the problem from happening again, but said it isn't urgent. I appreciated the technician's honesty and patience, and would not hesitate to call them again.

Kiya and his team came and replaced the old knob and tube electrical in my old house in 2007 - we were happy with the work and haven't had any issues since. I hadn't decided where to put the dryer plug, however, so we agreed that he'd return once I'd decided. I called him more than 5 years later and he returned to do the work - he is definitely a man of his word!! After hearing stories of dishonest or lazy contractors, it's nice to find one that I can trust.

After purchasing an old home, we found out that the old roof was in worse shape than originally thought and we had to find a company to remove many layers of old shingles as well as install two large areas of flat roof. We hired Rosman Roofing in the summer of 2007 to do the job and were VERY pleased with the results! Jake and his father were incredibly honest and hard working and got the job done as per the agreed upon schedule and price. They spent a lot of time answering our roofing questions and helping us pick the shingles that were of the best quality and would look the best on the house. Their prices were in-line with the few other quotes that we received. I will highly recommend them to anyone looking to have their roof done.
