When reading reviews- note that Safetech offers 1-month free alarm monitoring to present clients once a POSITIVE review is posted on Homestars. The offer is not open to a review that is outside of POSITIVE. I read the reviews prior to hiring and my experience does not come close to the bought reviews! Reasoning for a one star rating to the 0 star I would like to give was that after much hassle they did reimburse some monies on an installation poorly done. It was a hard win back taking up much of my time. Pay attention to the sales person. To him everything is possible. As they contract out the work you must be present for all installation and report deficencies immediately to Safetech. You must have patience as my experience of reporting inadequacies went unanswered to my satisfaction and was only actioned upon when threatened with reporting to the BBB and blogging about my experience. To SafeTech's response;The option to remain anonymous is one offered by HomeStars. I have supplied numerous documents to HomeStars to substantiate my experience. I regret that my business did not warrant the experience service you speak of.

I have to admit I am really disappointed to read what you have said about our company and I am sorry that you have chosen not to identify yourself. I can only speculate as to the nature and circumstances of your difficulties but I want to assure you that customer service and customer experience is a huge priority for me and this company! In todays competitve market providing good client support and service is not an option, it will be the difference between a company that succeeds or fails. For 20 years SafeTech has offered unlimited over the phone technical support, we have extended hours of operation and are open every evening and on weekends. We even offer late night emergency support to all our clients. I would like to remind you that all newly installed alarm and camera systems come with a comprehensive parts and labour warranty so if you have any issues with our installation you should immediately contact our technical support team and let them assist you free of charge.
Very recently in an effort to encourage clients to share their SafeTech experience with others and to compensate people for the time involved to prepare and post a review SafeTech offerred to make a donation equal to one month of monitoring to a clients' favourite charity or to not charge for one month of monitoring. Since that time SafeTech's has seen more reviews posted but our quality score on newly submitted reviews has actually gone down because Homestars is now receiving a better cross section of our client base and not just people who really, really like us! We think this program makes sense and is consistent with our own internal client surveys which show a 90% excellent approval rating.
