I went with Renewal by Andersen initially because Andersen has been a trusted manufacturer of windows for decades. I also liked the fact that the manufacturer is also the installer. The installation process was superb. I did a whole house, full frame replacement and they completed the job in one day. The team of Beka, Soso and David worked like a well oiled machine. The job, from my estimation, looked great, right down to the interior casing replacement. I should also mention the clean up was excellent. The windows look great and appear to be of high quality. I can say that the choice of Smart Sun glass for the south facing windows makes a noticeable difference in blocking out the heat of the summer sun. This brings me to my one issue. This same glass was to be included in the 2nd bedroom windows and was not. I mentioned this to Layne, the project manager for the installation. He dropped by the very next day. He confirmed that indeed the wrong window type was installed and ordered replacements immediately. These windows are not the cheapest but are supposedly of higher quality. I believe that from what I have experienced so far. And the service has been excellent.
