Multicity Moving No Longer In Business

Multicity moved me last weekend. I hired 2 movers, they arrived on time with a big truck. I had most of my stuff completely packed in boxes. The day of move the movers came an hour early to wrap my furniture. The elevator was booked between 10-1 pm. Everything was ready by 10 am. They started to move my stuff and it took them just about an hour to move everything out. My new place was 10 minutes away. It took another hour or so to unload everything to my new place. I ended up paying the minimum charge of 3 hours labour and an hour travel. I think they were great. If I were to move in the future I would definitely hire them again. Give them a call if you are looking for fast, efficient movers.

My family and I were planning our move from ON to FL. We were moving our 4 bedroom house. We have received a few estimates from a lot of different moving companies. We had to go through all the quotes as well as their credentials and must say some of the companies has terrible reviews. Some of them were too low for that kind of a big move. And makes you think... We were not sure if it would be worth it because we were working on a budget. One of the quote that standed out was Multicity Moving quote. It was within our budget. The price we received from Leslie was $6300.00 CAD, which seems pretty decent for a 4 bedroom house. So we decided to schedule our move with Multicity Moving on March the 8th. They showed up around 8:30 am on the day of the move, they wrapped all of our belongings in padded blankets and disassembled our beds. They were done by 4:00 pm. We received our items within 10 business days and were very impressed with the work, all of our items arrived, no missing items. Everything went smoothly and I can honestly say that Multicity Movers did a great job. I would recommend this company to anyone because I used this company and they didn't disappoint me and my family in any way. Thank You Multicity Moving for a wonderful move. I would definitely use you guys in the near future and will recommend you to anyone.

Best movers in the GTA, (02 April 2011) I would like to take this opportunity to thank Multicity Moving Inc, movers for their excellent service. They moved me last week, and I am still happily surprised from the way they handled this move for me. I had a local move to be done within Toronto (a 2 bedroom apartment), I called in and was talking to Andrew, he asked me multiple questions that really made me think that its going to be a painless move because this people knows what they are doing. When they arrived they were prepared and ready for my move..!!, Every single information that I gave him, starting from my boxes, dressers, bed, mattress and goes on and on...they knew what to take out first and what to take out last. The crew Ismail, John and Steve was remarkable. They arrived around 9 am, the driver Ismail was explaining me how the time and the pricing goes, which I already knew through Andrew however it was really nice to hear and to reconfirm. You can see how professional they are. They have a minimum charge which is 3 hours labour and an hour travel, and if you go above you just pay by the hour and my move took about 6 hours.
The whole move become a nice, stress-less experience. try them out..!! I'm pretty sure you will be happy at the end. I know I will keep on using them, and again- thanks for all the people that helped me with my move. Multicity is the best!

I heard of Multicity Moving through one of my friends friend and decided to use them for my move from Hamilton ON to Vancouver BC. I was having a hard time with the landlords, Multicity Moving was very helpful and responsive to this matter and adjusted my date/time three times and could not be more polite about it. Long story short thanks to Multicity Moving they worked with my landlords schedule and their bs. They saved me from a big headache.

I wasn’t sure how much of a shipment I have so asked them to get a inhome estimate. I called in
and spoke to Robert, he got my details and passed it over to Mr Bonder. He called me just
after. And scheduled a date and a time. He showed up and went through all the items that I was shipping. He gave me an estimate, and I liked the rate. I called the day after and booked it.

On the day of the move (march 10th), the truck arrived on time and the two guys started loading , they were quick.I have to say that I was probably their favourite kind of client as I had everything prepared in a very 'Type A' manner. They packed up my stuff and loaded into the truck.

The unpacking was as quick and problem free as the packing,they were done in an hour less than I had budgeted and even rounded down a few minutes for me when we came to settle up.

I will definitely use this company again. They did what they promised, took good care of my stuff, were well priced, and seemed as if they wanted my repeat business in the future.

This was my first time using a moving company, and I moved to Edmonton AB.
After doing research online, like most people I am sure, I was really worried about the outcome of the company that I was going to hire.To be honest I read horror stories of all kinds from other companies, but I did find good reviews about Multicity Moving Inc. on Homestars and BBB. They had some bad reviews however they had more good reviews. I do understand that you cannot please every each customer but I can say based on the reviews, they were doing a good job. The most important part is that this company is a family owned operation. That had played a small role making my decision but the good reviews made me decide who to go with them.

My moving experience began with an online request for a quote. I fill up this quote request form online and shortly after, I received a call from Robert the sales rep. He is a polite, knowledgeable, thorough, and professional customer service representative. He answered all of my questions, and did not guess if he did not know an answer. Instead, he called me back or e-mailed the right information. The estimate he gave me was an estimate, based on the list I gave him. After the pick up he called me and informed me with the actual weight. The actual weight only went over 300 lbs and that changed my rate just a little from what I was quoted. It didn't hurt me to pay just a bit more.

I was really happy with the service and with the movers. It did not take me long time to receive my shipment in Edmonton. Everything was still in one piece, and had no damage.

Multicity Moving jumped right in to help me after I was turned down by 2 others,due to the size (small) of my move. Some companies has minimum weights, and they do not move unless you have a minimum 1000 lbs. I had under 500 lbs.. I was getting worried If I would find any company to move me.
The sales person Andrew was very helpful and he even came out to do a visual estimate for me. They did not care at all to come out even though I only had 7 items to move. I was very impressed with the service. He send out one mover, because I only had 5 boxes and a mattress and a box spring. It took the mover only 30 minutes to finish the job, he located everything on the truck , tied up the goods, we signed the papers and the inventory list and we were done. I paid extra for mattress covers because they have this mattress covers and its thick enough to protect them on the way there. Andrew called me the next morning and gave me the final rate, the rate was affordable, when you think about how much you have and how far your shipment goes, it was a good rate. I wasn’t in a rush to receive my shipment and asked Andrew to ship my goods on the next truck. My shipment arrived in Montreal in two weeks later. The local agent called me and we set up a date and a time. They showed up and finish the job very quick.
For me a job is a job no matter what the size is, and Multicity Moving did showed me that, they will do any job no matter the size is. I wish the other companies who turned me down would learn one day.
I only decided to write this review because they did such a good job and I was more then satisfied with them.

Multicity Moving of Mississauga ,ON moved me and my sister from Washington DC to Mississauga Ontario. We are attending school there and we were limited on our budget. We start looking for a company and called many companies however they were too high in rates. We kept looking and came across with Multicity Moving, from the first call to the last I was really happy with their service. I would like to share my experience with Multicity Moving, and how happy we were with the excellent service that we received. The Office Staff at Multicity Moving was very helpful and knowledgeable regarding all aspects of the move; they provided a very competitive rate, allowing us to be sure of what we would be paying. The Crew Ismail and Steve was very friendly and professional, they arrived early and went right to work wrapping our furniture and loading the boxes. They updated me on every step of my move, when our shipment arrived in Mississauga, they called to arrange a date and a time for our custom clearance. It took us only half an hour to do that and we received our shipment in the following hour. The move was painless , and stress free, the staff were very efficient and careful and all of my things arrived in perfect condition. I will recommend Multicity Moving to anyone who is planning to move.

We moved with Multicity Moving Services in mid-February from Toronto to Miami FL. We chose Multicity Moving from a referral by our friends who used them for another cross country move a year ago, we did plenty of research and actually had two other companies in mind one of which came to our house in Toronto to see what we were moving and that made us very comfortable with that company. The final decision was based on the fact that Multicity Moving services price was $1000.00 less than the other company,We spoke with Abraham who was a pleasure to deal with and estimated a weight based off of our inventory list and came up with a weight of 16,5000 Lbs. We estimated 150 boxes however he estimated around 200 boxes that they would need to pack. And he was right, Experience shows it all. We had about just over 200 boxes.Abraham gave a us about 50 free boxes in various sizes. From our point of view we didn’t think that much but it adds up. We have bought so many things in the past few years, you just dont realize how much stuff you have. We decided to go with Abraham to use Multicity Moving Services because we felt very comfortable with his knowledge and honesty and they came highly recommended. We also thought it ll be a good idea to add another 2000 lbs just in case because we know that we cannot just weight things by looking at them. Our loading day was scheduled for 19th Feb. Multicity Moving send out 4 professional movers on the 17th and the 18th to pack our goods. They were at my house at 07:00 am.( they were actually on time) and I think thats a good business matter. We needed packing as well. In the process of talking about our move with Abraham we had a great rate on packing due to the fact that we had a big move to be done. We loved the way the packers did their job. Have to admit we did ask for extra packing material(you know how valuable is your stuff) so we were fine with the extra charge for packing. Abraham gave us a good rate on that as well. (thanks again Abraham :) ) On the 19th of Feb , our loading day, they showed up with 5 men at 7 am .Abraham was the 5th , he was there to direct and supervise the movers. They protected our floors with the runners, they covers our doors and walls with blankets. Abraham did the inventory and tagged each item which went out the door. It took the whole day to load up the truck. The loading was done 01.00 am in the morning..!! I thought it was gonna take 2 days. But the movers took their time load and to make sure no mistakes are done. The movers were great, the next morning Abraham called us and told us our actual weight was 20.753 lbs and the difference was 4253 lbs. It was a bit more than original estimate however we were ready for it. Because we actually brought more item to the list than what we handed to Abraham. Some of the items , we were not sure if we should bring it or not, last minute me and my wife decided to take it. The price went up for a bit but at the end we were happy that we were able take everything we wanted. The delivery went as smooth as the pick up did and once we were finished unpacking everything about three weeks later. We had damages where some glassware from a box were broken but that s it. The rest of the shipment were in a great condition. For the broken glassware, Abraham send us a full glassware set of 12. I was really impressed and happy with the service. I called Abraham and thanked him a few times. We could not be any more happy for choosing them and we are very thankful for everyone involved that they made an extremely large and potentially stressful move very easy and relatively damage free. We highly recommended Multicity Moving Services.

This was our third move and by far the best. I hired Multicity Moving to relocate, from Toronto to Calgary. The entire process was smooth and issue free from start to finish.
Both Leslie and the moving crew were very responsive and accessible through the entire moving process. The cost of our move was competitively priced and there were no hidden fees. The estimation was given by Mr Bonder. He arranged a visual estimation date and a time. He saw what we were shipping and not, and based on what he saw its was a good estimate. The visual was about 3000 lbs and the shipment came up to 3338 lbs. So it was not that bad.We ended up paying $2550.00 all in. We were happy at the end.
The movers accommodated our schedule and were on time at every phase which I found it very professional compare to other moving companies that I hired previously.
We had several pieces of furniture that they took excellent care in wrapping and protecting, and it was the first time where we had no damage to our possessions.
The movers were courteous and professional and went about their work in a quiet expeditious manner.
They were careful to keep both premises neat and dry which required minimal clean up. They placed the red runners on the floor. I was really happy with that because we were concerned about scratches on the floor however no scratches at all..
If we move again we will definitely use Multicity Moving .

It was a satisfying experience to work with MultiCity Moving Co. because they responded quickly to any questions I had and speedly resolved or put to rest any issues. The movers assigned to me were fast, efficient and respectful. We were impressed with how focused they were and found them helpful as well and if we didn’t know how to pack a tricky item such as the oval rotating mirror or take apart a peace of furniture they did it for us. So I would like to say a big thank you to Leslie, Herb and Abraham for their help with my move and I would highly recommend Multicity Moving.
