So that John could come better prepared, he asked me to text him pictures of the deadbolt and backing plates -- this was very thoughtful of him because it made more effective use of our time during the visit. John came to our house today to get a token key out of our lock. First off he was the first person who would even show up for the job. Other companies just wanted to sell us new stuff right away.

We called "A perfect pick locksmiths" after researching the reviews on HomeStars. We called and spoke to John after we were no longer able to open our front door without much effort (to the point we were afraid to use it in case we could not get back in). John listened to our problem and asked several questions before advising us that it would be best to purchase a new lock system and he would gladly install it. Much to our delight, John was available to come out to our home the very next morning and install the lock system we purchased ourselves. He also recommended the best lock to buy, which was helpful. John arrived on time and was pleasant and efficient. He explained everything and even adjusted the door to ensure everything was working fine. We appreciate how quickly our problem was solved and for a reasonable cost. Would not hesitate to recommend this company.

My door was locked and i didnt have a key to open it, so he came right away and helped me open it. He was vert nice and did in about 15 minutes

We had a side door lock that was no longer working (could not get the key in to turn it). I saw the great reviews here on Homestars and gave them a call. Spoke to John who was able to come out within a few days (this was not an emergency). When he arrived it was determined that the lock needed replacing. I needed a quick rekey at my business. I looked at Homestars, contacted 2 recommended locksmiths, first one was responsive but had to pry information from them. "A Perfect Pick" answered the phone (John) himself, I explained what was required, he asked all of the pertinent questions, and then gave a quote by text within a few minutes. John in fact followed up twice by text, firstly to ask a few more details about the job which might influence the original quote, second to offer an additional suggestion based on the information I had given to him. He left me with options to be discussed on site. He arrived promptly at the appointed time the next day, spent longer than usual in removing the old cylinders, (we looked at that together), and proceeded with the job, at exactly the quoted price.
