Paul and his team did an excellent job of transforming our outdated master bathroom into a beautiful, modern spa bathroom. We had a really great experience with Mainland Ventures and were extremely happy with the results. We found Paul to be upfront, honest, reliable, and always quick to respond to our many questions! He was very meticulous in the planning stages and very well organized so that our project could run as smoothly as possible. Russell, Wafa and Conor were all very friendly, courteous, knowledgeable and professional. Their workmanship and work ethic were top-notch. They made sure that everything was done the proper way and to the utmost highest quality. We have in-floor radiant heating pipes encased in concrete, but somehow Russell, along with the plumber, were able to reposition the bathtub drain and water supply pipes without running into the radiant heating pipes. The renovation was done well within the estimated cost and within the estimated time frame. We highly recommend Paul and his team to anyone who needs a renovation, and look forward to contacting them again for future renovations of our own. Thanks again for a job well-done!

We hired Mainland Ventures for a partial bathroom renovation to our townhome. I was extremely satisfied by the professionalism and friendly customer service, starting right from the consultation process by Paul to the actual install by Russell. I appreciated that Paul really listened to what we wanted and hoped to achieve with our budget. Many suggestions and ideas were put forward for us t choose from, and I did not feel once like I was being 'sold' anything extra or unnecessary. As well, I was very well informed every step of the way on progress, and potential set-backs that could arise - communication was excellent, and what was promised was more than delivered on. The result was above our expectation, and everyone is enjoying the new soaker tub and beautiful tiles! Russell was a pleasure to have at our home during the process, and was excellent in ensuring our one bathroom was spotless at the end of each day. He worked very hard to stay on schedule (which he did!), and was very patient and friendly to our children, who had a million questions along the way :). He felt like a part of our extended family by the end of the job! So thank you so much for giving us enjoyment of this room again, and I would in a heartbeat recommend Mainland to anyone looking for a job to be done, big or small. I can't wait for the next project! So happy the first experience with a contractor was a great one. Thanks again!

This is our third project that Mainland Ventures has completed for us and that in and of itself should indicate how great a company they are to work with.
The latest job was the largest by far…a complete renovation of our house, including the construction of a new staircase, which turned out amazing -thanks Conor!
Any of the issues that cropped up (and they do no matter how carefully you plan or budget) were discussed and handled with the utmost professionalism.
We are loving and enjoying our new space and we would like to extend another big thank you to Paul, Conor, and the Mainland Venture team that made it all possible.

Paul and his crew transformed our home with renovations to the kitchen, family room, laundry room, main floor powder room, two upstairs bathrooms and a new deck. Paul came highly recommended by our neighbours and we knew as soon as we met him that Mainland Ventures was the right contractor for our own job. Paul is above all a very nice guy, and whose knowledge and experience were really important for us embarking on our first home renovation project. Paul was incredibly helpful through the permit process and was great in working with us to plan out the project. Paul's crew were with us for about six months, primarily Connor and Russell. We were very impressed with Connor's work in the kitchen/family room and on the deck. His attention to detail, work ethic, manner, tidiness and skill were first rate. Russell was similarly fantastic to have around as he led the second phase of the work on the bathrooms. Together with our three kids, we stayed in our home throughout the project (and I work from home so I was around a lot) and we were very appreciative of how clean and orderly the work site was left at the end of every day, how respectful and thoughtful the guys were at all times, how great the guys were at communicating what was going on at any time, how hard they worked and just how pleasant they were to have around! The project was completed pretty much in line with the budget and the time forecasts. We would without reservation recommend Paul and his team for any home renovation project. We are absolutely delighted with the results and cannot imagine the project having gone any better. Thank you Mainland Ventures.

I had the pleasure of working with Paul, Conor, Artem and Russell. Each and every one was so helpful and skilled and had an amazing work ethic. We had sconces installed outside and it was difficult to hide the conduit, but Conor and Paul came up with idea of building wooden trough to conceal it, and I really appreciated the extra time and effort they put into dealing with the aesthetics. Conor and Russell also worked in my very cramped attic to put boards down and create storage. They were always prompt, kind and respectful in every way. I am so glad to have found Paul and his team and look forward to working with them again!

Our home had had an ongoing ceiling water leak and, unfortunately, we could not pinpoint the cause. Paul and Russell expertly assessed the potential causes and one-by-one eliminated each one until the final culprit was found - a rusty nail that had punctured the radiant heating line below our second floor tile floor.

Paul and his team set to work removing the tile, repairing the radiant heating line and conducting the tile and ceiling repair work needed. Russell, in particular, did an outstanding job. He was knowledgeable, thorough, tidy and always kept us up-to-date on the work to be done. We could not be happier with the result and look forward to working Paul and his team in the future for any future repair!

Mainland Ventures (Paul P. and Conor) did an outstanding professional job replacing our staircase and guardrail. Project was completed in timely fashion. Rebuilt staircase/guardrail assembly was 'rock solid'. Appreciated Mainland Ventures would undertake small project. Estimated project budget was maintained. Thank you Mainland Ventures!

An old settling concrete front porch had settled to allow rain to run down inside agains't a pony wall. Over the years this pony wall had rotted out.
Mainland removed the concrete porch, removthe rotted out pony wall behind ir, and replaced the lot. At the same time tey replaced a cracked section of sidewalk.
As I have stated before this Firm has a great work ethic, carried out this project without delay, and on budget.
They are first rate.

This is the third renovation job we've had Paul Pharaon and Mainland Ventures do for us and once again we were completely satisfied with the work done. In this case Paul did more of the basic planning, especially for the bathroom and created a more efficient, functional unit. The quality of the work was up to the high standard we observed in the previous jobs and conducted by competent, courteous trades people. Mainland Ventures and Paul Pharaon will likely not be the cheapest contractor in town, but give very good value for the money. He stands behind his work if any problems crop up.

Our bathroom was in dire need of renovation considering it was the original when the house was built in 1971 - olive green everything!
Paul, the owner of the Mainland Ventures was an absolute sweetheart, very understanding and helpful in getting it done right AND fast full remodel in 5 days!!! His partner the interior designer Mira came up with a great design considering that our bathroom is what I have called sine the day I first saw it a 'bowling alley bathroom. 16 ft long by 8 feet wide - very odd shaped. Now we have a really nice tub that my husband fits in, that dreadful green is GONE!! We now have 2 sinks instead of one. All in a white and soft silver - no more little 1 x 1 in. tiles but beautiful white glass subway tiles! This would not be this amazing bathroom without Mainland Ventures team. What a company, I really appreciated everything they did!
