OVMF/Premier Trim

I found OVMF on homestars.com. Bernie responded to my initial call almost immediately, and came to give a quote in about a week. They were flexible in setting up time for the job, and coordinated well with a painter who was also working in the house. They did a fantastic job refinishing my floors. They have high calibre modern machinery that does a fine job and creates minimal dust. Staff were professional, friendly, and courteous. I highly recommend OVMF.

Spoke with Bernie and had Steve come out to give us a quote. He cared more about the Sens game that night then ever getting back to us with a quote.

If you're willing to wait it's worth it. Bernie and Steve (and the team) did an amazing job. We didn't even know if the stairs would be salvageable yet they look amazing. Floors too! The guys were most helpful throughout the whole process. Would definitely recommend these guys.

My floors were damaged by someone who thought refinishing floors was a DIY project, leaving gouges in the floor.

Here at MEC Ottawa we had severely warn out hardwood floors that were in need of refinishing after 15 years of membership traffic. Being a retail operation with 8,640 sq.ft of floors to finish without closing down, there were significant logistical challenges that needed to be worked through.

Bernie and Steve worked closely with our team to design a game plan that allowed us to remain open and eliminate disruption for our membership all while refinishing about up to 720 sq. ft per day.

Bernie and his team did a great job refinishing the pine floors in our 100-year old home. Bernie was one of the only guys willing to come and do an on site estimate, and the work was done on time.

The stairs were particularly tricky, but Bernie informed me of the issues, advised of all possible options and impacts on the project cost. His team even did a small floor repair at no additional cost.

The ceramic tiles (eight or so) in my kitchen were buckling upwards due to the hardwood being installed too tightly. The issue had been ongoing for years and I decided to do something about it after one of my friends went through one of my tiles….my friend was not injured. Bernie came out and took a look at it. He said that he sees this a lot which was somewhat re-assuring since he kind of implied that he could fix it. Since it was a small job, he took time away from his bigger jobs to accommodate me over a course of a few days. He could of quoted me an insane amount or told me that it wasn’t worth it for him but he did not. He took his time and did not rush the repair which included very minor trimming of the tiles. I finally now have a kitchen floor that I can stand on and it doesn’t look like any work was done to it. Both Bernie and Steve did a fantastic job. Thank you.
