This was my first home renovation and Joaquin walk me throught the process and nicely explained my options. I had carpet removed from stairs and floor, then replaced with laminate. The work was done within the timeline we set. I was informed about any hiccups in the process. Very satisfied with the finished product.

The tile job was tricky and was using 4x2 foot tiles on a crookrd wall. He made it look like a picture perfect bathroom. So professional haven't had this professional a contractor working for me ever over the last 20 years of doing renovations.

My bathroom had not been updated since the mid-80's and was in desperate need. Joaquin responded immediately to my request for a quote and was diligent and transparent in all of his communications with me. His quote was fair and cost effective. The work that he delivered was meticulous. I love the new bathroom! Joaquin iseasy to speak with and he took the time to understand the job's requirements. He was open to requests for extra work and was very professional as he balanced his workload with other jobs. His team was friendly, professional and did a great job cleaning up after themselves every day. I strongly recommend Castellanos Reno & Repair and will be contacting them again.

I had a rental apartment with an 80s gray bath, gray tile bathroom that was in serious need of an upgrade. I wanted to give it a clean modern look without braking the bank. Joaquin took time to listen and completely understood what I needed. After a new bath with tiled walls, new floor tiles, a new window and fresh paint, the bathroom look is completely changed! Note (2022-10-14): I have used Castellanos Reno and Repair again for another apartment renovation (about one month after my original post). I felt the need to update this review because the work was simply fanstastic! They are meticulous yet fast-working. Certainly one of the best contractors I have dealt with in Ottawa. Will definitely do business again with this company. I highly recommend Castellanos Reno and Repair !

I have contracted Joaquin's services on 2 different properties. Once for a basement bedroom and bathroom renovation, and another for a bathroom renovation and painting. Both times Joaquin displayed a high level of transparency and professionalism, explaining all aspects of the work and associated costs. The quality of the work was excellent and left me very satisfied, and I recommend his services with confidence to friends and family.

Joaquin and his team were excellent from start to finish. He was very easy to work with and communicative at all times. His estimates were easy to understand and he listened to our requests as the project progressed. They left the house clean and did their best to work around a busy family environment. Joaquin and his team repaired multiple issues at my new house. Drywalling/wallboarding REALLY well done. Painting excellent. They installed our entire basement floor (vinyl plank), installed insulation in an area without. Invoices/estimates always well explained and on time. The team comes when they say they're coming.
