This company installed a thermostat, UV filter, and tankless waterheater in my landlords house.

Shortly after our furnace quit working, and we had to replace it at cost to ourselves even though we had a "protection plan" included within our services. The company did not check if the furnace met the requirements for their plan due to age of installation and etc... So they attempted to deny covering the furnace for us. I was the one who also diagnosed the furnace as being broken, after their techs had failed to read the codes that the furnace was flashing.

We had their techs out 4 times in the first 2 weeks of having this stuff installed, only for them to not be able to figure out what was going on, until I read the codes.

After this began a battle to get 3000+ dollars returned to us, which was only done last month. This was after we had to harass them to get them to change our UV filters, which took 6 months to get done, and 4 different tech appointments to get done.

Personally I handled the negotiation between the company and my Landlord, which the company attempted to fraudulently get themselves out of the situation, to which then I pointed out that they didn't follow proper procedures or anything when the contract was signed, therefore the contract would be considered invalid and a fraudulent contract. I threatened Khalid the CFO of the company directly with a lawsuit over this issue.

Once I threatened the lawsuit, and proved the company was at fault and we weren't the company was more than willing to pay my landlord back for the furnace, and they sent me 1000 dollars which I had pushed back on due to being on ODSP.

Now due to them I have an overpayment ODSP, which is an unnecessary financial hardship that I'm not having to endure due to this company. I would never recommend this company to anyone, their reps after you call them out on Breach of contract, fraud, and much more will try to not talk to you, and even if you get escalated up they will try and not pay you in full. They attempted to withhold part of the cost of the furnace and installation from my Landlord till I told them if we didn't receive the payment in 24 hours I was contacting Canadian Anti Fraud, and Consumer protection Ontario.

I would NEVER recommend this company, and if they come to your door, tell them to hit the road. The contract we signed with them is worth around 15,000 dollars for the equipment, don't sign one with these guys, they make excuses for not showing up rather than being honest.

E2: I have stated to the company that they have to earn our stars back, and until they prove that we will not be changing the rating on this.
