We approached Teso electric after reading several reviews on homestar, reddit, etc. If I were to describe his service in three phrases, it would be 1. Professionalism, 2. trustable recommendations, 3. competitive pricing.
1. Professionalism: Not only did Thomas complete our requested services, but he also went beyond our expectation and identified some electric issues our previous home owners left. Thankfully, he offered to fix it as part of the original quote/no extra charge. For every design, he would confirm it with us before drilling anything and also laid out his step-by-step action items for the job so we were able to fully rely on him.
2. Trustable recommendations: We ended up settling with 4000k potlights with 550 lumens but we (not Thomas) took long time deciding it. Thomas never pressured us - instead, he helped us identify pros/cons with each product and what would go well with a house like our etc. Even on the day of the project, he would give us recommendation/advices on light fixtures, how it would look nicer etc. It would've been duplicate amount of work for him to re-design on the spot but Thomas never hesitated.
3. competitive pricing: the topic everyone on homestar is probably most sensitive to. Before going with Thomas, we got quotes from 5 places, all with great reputation in the area. I can confidently share that Thomas' service was one of the best quotes I've got PLUS absolutely no hidden fees. He also sent us updated quotes for everytime we re-designed, and the invoices were super easy to follow & he updated them within like one second everytime.
Now that I think about it - he was the only one who offered to come see the place and layout design for us without specific commitment. Other places only wanted to work with photos & phone calls so it was difficult for me to visualize.
Overall, very satisfied, I'm glad I've got to work with him! Thanks a lot Thomas!
