We hired Brian and his crew based on his professional approach to our project. His attention to detail covering all bases before the project even started assured us in our decision. We got a late start only due to weather which Julia kept us informed for the entire time. Once the project started, Nelson was professional and checked with us for all decisions and best options for the best possible outcome. He strives for perfection and he achieves it. We are extremely happy with the results and will hire Brian and crew again for more projects in the future. Well done guys!!

We came to the cottage to discover about a third of the lights and outlets not functioning. I went to the HomeStars website put in the address and problem and received a call within 2 hours from the contractor who would handle the call. We had a date and time confirmed by that afternoon.
The licensed crew arrived on time on the right day and fixed the problem in short order. They were able to trace the system identify the two problems in under an hour. That is a task that would have taken me all summer if I ever did identify it. Within 2 hours of arriving everything was working perfectly.
Now we can enjoy a summer free of extension cords and rechargeable flashlights.

What started out as a promising new general contracting business ended up very poorly. 4 different jobs were performed. Removal of old popcorn ceiling and instal of new drywall and painting was a successful venture despite one of the painters being dismissive & rude.

The crew hired to do a deep clean clearly had never cleaned before. The site was left filthy and many places were simply not touched. After addressing the issues with video footage and photos I was told the staff did their job to the contractors satisfaction.

The third job was window cleaning. All went as expected

The fourth was an concrete sidewalk. Incompetent concrete masons, laying the concrete so that it is rippled and uneven. Not properly cutting in the pressure release lines, physical altercations between the crew complete with death threats and tools being used as weapons, the list goes on.

I had high hopes for ULPM but unfortunately this will be my last experience with them and Homestars should consider who they endorse. I come to Homestars for vetted, trusted trades so this experience has left a bad taste in my mouth with the legitimacy of how Homestars is selecting the trades to hilight. Do better

We have used Upper Lake Property Management in Muskoka for window cleaning and general property maintenance. We are on an island and getting contractors to come out is never easy. Without hesitation I highly recommend Brian and his crew for just about anything you need done at your seasonal cottage or full-time home. We are very happy customers.
