Our eavestroughs were leaking and we were not sure if it was due to a clog or issues with the eavestroughs. Mike from Alu Contracts responded quickly to our job posting on HomeStars and came for an in person quote. He was able to quickly identify it was not a clog but our eavestroughs were in need of replacement. After seeing our entire house we received a reasonable quote that evening.

The work was completed quickly and Mike and his team were all polite and professional. We ended up replacing the soffits as well and they were able to accommodate this last minute request and complete the job in a day.

We’ve already had rain this past weekend and there is no leakage or drippings so far! And the work looks great.

My only concern is that there is quite a bit of debris left on our property as the snow is beginning to melt. On the ground, roof of our back extension and bay window. But I’m not sure if this because it is difficult to vacuum and sweep since there was a lot of snow on the ground the day they conducted the work. Otherwise I would have rated them 10/10.

ALU contracts was the best quote we received out of 4 and right from the first meeting, I got the sense that they would be awesome. They put me at ease on a number of issues I had and spelled out exactly how the whole job would go. They where diligent and respectful of the work area, and always answered any of my questions and completed the work when they said they would and this included working on cold days I thought they shouldn’t be working. Overall we are thrilled with the job and wholeheartedly recommend them for your next job.

We had a large leak after a heavy rainstorm and needed urgent repairs. Mike came out and fixed the leak and also cleared out the gutters for us. Very professional and efficient! Thank you!

Our gutters were almost falling off as they were full of leaves and eaves cleaners didn’t want to clean them as they informed me that they needed to be changed ASAP. Nino was the quickest to quote and do the work. Very efficient and great job. Very pleased. Nino even offered to temporary fix the eaves until he could come over to change them. Would recommend!

Mike showed up a day later than we had decided (winds were too high). He was on time and even helped us find a blocked downspout. He was able to replace it with a new one. This was our first time cleaning the gutters so great experience overall. Would recommend Mike again.
