We hired HomeShield Permanent Metal Roof to install a new roof on our Cottage and Boathouse. It was such a great experience, from start to finish. Great product, exceptional Customer relations and our roof was installed in less time than we were told in spite of the cold weather. Thank you Barry and Steve!

We were in need of a new roof and wanted to go with metal as it lasts way longer. We ended up getting quotes from 5 different companies and in the process we found out that there are different types and styles of roofing and how they attach. In the end we knew we wanted the metal roof that attaches directly to the roof with hidden clips, no screws showing. We were given an incredible deal by Home Sheild and although it was not the lowest estimate it was the best price for the type of roof we wanted. The guys worked through snow and ice and wind and got the job done way before the estimated time. These guys are incredible and very efficient and professional. We still have another roof to get done in the near future and we will be definitely calling Home Shield for the job.

Simple two-story bungalow, old, peeling shingles. Finally decided to do something about it. Of all the products we reviewed, this one came out ahead - shingles just don't last anymore, even if you spend the serious $$ for the best shingles you can buy. We wanted something that was fire and forget. And other metal roofing products just seemed to have so many possible issues with fasteners, we didn't want to deal.

This product is perfect for our needs. Metal, long lasting, excellent paint coats, and no exposed fasteners to loosen or need tightening. And the price came in only marginally above other metal products, and roughly equivalent to the highest grade of shingles ($10k just for the shingles, plus labour to remove old / install / etc.).

It's only been up for a few weeks, but we're looking forward to at least 25 years of maintenance free use, and hoping for the 50. :)

Barry is very knowledgeable and gave us a thorough description of all types of roofing. They replaced our shingles with a beautiful permanent steel (armour) roof. Barry kept us up to date leading up to and through out the project. The crew was very fast and kept the yard clean the whole time.

Product installed conscientiously on time. They took the time to reinstall my satellite dish and had it working.

I am extremely happy with the look and quality of this product. Everyone from the sales staff to the installers were fantastic.

Home Shield Permanent Metal Roofing was all around a great experience. The salesman Gerry was very passionate about the product. He went into detail about the installation and he kept me apprised of the eta’s for product delivery and install.
Following the long drive to Collingwood, the crew worked their tails off until dark and were back early the next morning. I had a lot of questions and they took the time and went into detail explaining how they do the installation and how the system worked. They did a super job!
