Poff Brothers Painting

Myles, Darcy and the crew came in and painted about half of my apartment after Darcy prep the walls. They did a perfect job, cleaned up after themselves, and left everything the way they found it per. They were knowledgeable, reassuring, and completely professional. I wish dealing with every trade was as easy as they made it. I would definitely hire them again, and will recommend them to all my friends and coworkers.

We had contracted the Poff Brothers for a update of our basement a couple of years ago and were really pleased with their work so we asked them to do our upper floor and ceiling when the time came for a new coat of paint. They did a really awesome job of prepping the walls and trim (which had seen quite a few dings since kids have been added to the family); the colour looks amazing and the trim really shines. The house looks like a whole new place. The brothers were incredibly professional, punctual, and true to their word in every aspect of the process, from the estimation, to the work itself and the clean up. They even finished a little early! I would highly recommend them for any painting job.

The picture included in this review is a small glimpse of how incredible my place looks thanks to the work of Poff Brothers team members Mike, Dale, Darcy and Myles. The amount of work that went into the 'pre-painting' stage revealed attention to detail, 'McGyver-style' fixes for old, crooked, non-pliable plaster walls, and countless other repairs that only skilled craftsmen can perform. In addition to the aforementioned, Myles modeled impressive communication and diplomacy skills while we got through a stressful and time consuming job (plaster walls ugh)...well worth the wait. The expense equals the result and this is an example of spending and investing wisely in my home.

I was very happy with the work that was done to repaint my entire main floor, stairwell and upstairs hallway. I was surprised at how many people came to work on this job but I understood why once I saw their process. They were meticulous in fixing every irregularity on the walls and spent a lot of time getting rid of some textured paint on old feature walls. They were polite, respectful and very quiet which was greatly appreciated because I worked in my home office the entire time they were on site. And they did a great job with the cleanup, came in on time and on budget. I highly recommend this company and will use them again.

Poff Brothers gave us a very reasonable quote for our 4 story condo structure. They were open to changes we made after our quote. Their workmanship was excellent. Cleaning was done as they completed areas of the hallways & trim. Stairwells & top railings were done at a later date with the same attention to detail. I would recommend Poff Brothers to anyone.

From the beginning, Poff Brothers were excellent to work with.
They did an in person consult and the quote was detailed and affordable so there were no surprises.
The timeline was accurate and the communication was excellent.
The job was challenging for a residential home due to the vaulted ceilings and nooks and it was all well done. I was very pleased with the quality of the painting job and clean up. They did all the trim, doors and walls on our main floor and bonus room.
