I was told that my basement stairs would be too difficult to do by another professional carpet company. I also wanted to use an old carpet for a bedroom but needed to be cut to fit. I was told too many angles and widths going to be very difficult. I'm still waiting on that quote from that company. Steve showed up same day I requested the quote on a Saturday. Pulled my carpet out, laid it out outside (other company) said they would have to charge me for someone to pick it up and roll it out to measure and charge me to bring it back. Steve measured the room, measured the carpet gave me a price and started to cut it right then and there after I gave him the go ahead. He looked at my basement stairs told me what the challenges would be, told me what to purchase to make an easy fix, so that carpet could be installed. He gave me samples that day of carpet, recommended what would look best. He sent Jason to do the actual install of the stairs and he worked in the evening straight through till he was done. I had to ask him to come back another day to do the bedroom as it ended up very late in the evening. They came back today and completed the bedroom. Fits like a glove, they even bound pieces together that they had to cut to use my existing carpet. It was completed within a couple of days of my posting the project on homestars. Very impressed. I contacted four companies advertising their carpet replacement service. Steve was the first guy who called me back and scheduled the house visit. After reviewing all the estimates, I found Steve gave me the best price and very reasonable time frame - one week. Jason and his team did an excellent job. Now this is my number one company for any carpeting project. I would highly recommend this company to anyone.

Steve and his team at Carpet for Less have the best service around! We were so happy with the service and quality of the product they provided that we actually used them twice!
We first contacted Steve when we were deciding to sell our house and put it on the market. Steve and his team were able to come to our house for an in home consult. They provided us with samples of each type of carpet and underpadding. They were even able to provide us with design recommendations based on the colour of our walls and ceramic tiles in our joining rooms. Before the team left, they carefully measured each room in order to provide a detailed quote. The price fit our budget; they provided us with a great price without sacrificing quality.
The day of the install was flawless. They arrived in the morning and removed our old carpet from the second floor and the stairs. They disposed of the carpet so we didn’t have to worry about going to the dump or renting a disposal bin. We were really happy that they not only moved the furniture out of every room but also put it back up exactly how it was before they got there. They took the time to make sure the carpet didn’t have any seems or transitional pieces visible when going into the closets.
We had a lot to do to get our house ready to put on the market. We were really happy we decided to put new carpet in the house with Carpet for Less before listing. It ended up being a stress free experience! The team was in and out in 1 day and they left without a mess. We were able to focus on the other areas of the house instead of cleaning after the carpet was installed. We were so happy with the results that we contacted the team again to complete a carpet install in our new house! Our new house was an hour away but the team was able to provide the same great service as above.
We will definitely be using Carpet for Less again in the future and we have recommended them to our close friends and relatives. They offer a great value product that is also a great quality.
