I was told that my basement stairs would be too difficult to do by another professional carpet company. I also wanted to use an old carpet for a bedroom but needed to be cut to fit. I was told too many angles and widths going to be very difficult. I'm still waiting on that quote from that company. Steve showed up same day I requested the quote on a Saturday. Pulled my carpet out, laid it out outside (other company) said they would have to charge me for someone to pick it up and roll it out to measure and charge me to bring it back. Steve measured the room, measured the carpet gave me a price and started to cut it right then and there after I gave him the go ahead. He looked at my basement stairs told me what the challenges would be, told me what to purchase to make an easy fix, so that carpet could be installed. He gave me samples that day of carpet, recommended what would look best. He sent Jason to do the actual install of the stairs and he worked in the evening straight through till he was done. I had to ask him to come back another day to do the bedroom as it ended up very late in the evening. They came back today and completed the bedroom. Fits like a glove, they even bound pieces together that they had to cut to use my existing carpet. It was completed within a couple of days of my posting the project on homestars. Very impressed.
