We move to Bowmanville and looked for a local contractor to renovate an unfinished basement; after searching Google, came across Right Choice Renos (RCR).
Contacted RCR online and within a day got a response from Sean scheduling a visit. Sean was very pleasant, and with brief discussions he understood our needs. He took measurements, within a couple hours, Sean provided a designed that surpassed our requirements. We agreed on a start date, after discussing a payment schedule and all requirements. Note, RCR handled all permits required for the renovation.
Materials delivered, and the RCR team started on the scheduled date. Sean, Brad (owners) and team worked fast and important to us with cleanliness.
We had open communications throughout the build. The basement completed with a professional look and feel. Their details to attention was obvious and made the workmanship even better.

Working with this team was a pleasure and we will definitely be hiring them in the future! We purchased a home that needed flooring upgrades due to poor maintenance from the previous owners and were looking for suggestions on the Kitchen as we wanted to change the floor (tile that continued under cabinets) and wanted an upgrade to the countertops. The kitchen was builder basic with no back splash so we were open to the idea of a full remodel. Sean came to the house within 48 hours of us reaching out and was able to give us multiple suggestions. We ended up moving forward with carpet upgrade through the entire upstairs and staircase. As well as vinyl flooring all through the main floor and full kitchen renovation.
Sean moved very fast in getting us setup with picking out materials and getting the guys into our house to start the work. Each member of the team that we had in our home was a delight and very professional. To say we are happy with the final product would be an understatement. Our quote was almost exactly what we ended up paying, any changes Sean made sure to talk through with us and never came to us with huge hikes. The only added cost we encountered was due to mold behind our kitchen sink that was found during the demo, which was already discussed with us as a possibility during the quote process. Right Choice Renos is a professional and honest company that we are very happy to have found!

Our kitchen was finished today and we are beyond happy with it.

When we initially met with Sean, he and my husband thought of a design that would maximize our space in addition to upgrading from it from the dysfunctional outdated kitchen it was. I never imagined it would look this beautiful as I just wanted better than it was.

RCR was 1/3 contractors that was recommended to me by our realtor and Im so relieved that we went with them. Sean gave us a good feeling from the beginning and felt we were in good hands.

Right Choice Renos is a contractor that I can not say enough about in a positive light. Initially we had chosen a different contractor that was a referral to us however that relationship did not develop after 3-4 months of waiting for a start date and circumstances changed where the initial contractor could not fullfill our request.

It just happened on the day that the first contractor cancelled that Sean from Right Choice Renos called to follow up. My frustration that day was beyond and my fiancee spoke with him and explained the situation. He stopped, listened, and offered to revise our initial quote. A final budget was agreed upon and the project started less then a week later.

Sean came and did a second walk through and suggested some enhancements that we did not initially consider and was reassured that the budget would be maintained. They certainly won our trust and when presented with the payment structure, it was nothing less then reasonable and well structured.
Every step of the way has been well laid out and knew what to expect. I can honestly say from a business perspective it has been nothing less then a pleasure working with Sean, Brad and the rest of their colleagues.
On a one to one interaction all of the staff have been absolutely first class, respectful, punctual, friendly, and have always put a full days work in. Both myself and fiancee are shift workers and when working nights and sleeping during the day they have been very respectful of softly closing doors, working quietly downstairs, And doing their best at staying quiet but still progressing with work. The other thing I have noticed is that they are very clean, using runners through the house and always cleaning up after each days work and leaving better then I would have ever expected . I am picky but reasonable but they have exceeded my expectations in every way.
I could go on and on but I honestly can not say that I have any complaints. Along the way certain changes have come up or concerns that I have addressed and they were more then willing to listen or change certain aspects at requests that were with in reason and staying with in the budget. Although we have added certain things and adjusted the budget but you will know exactly where you stand before the changes are made.
Right Choice Renos are definitely a contractor I would strongly recommend to anyone. Everyone is very quick to be critical or complain these days which I wanted to change. I rarely give reviews and I can honestly day that they have exceeded my expectations in every way!!!

I went with Right Choice Renos for a home renovation on a bathroom and was very satisfied with their work.

Initially we scheduled an entire basement renovation, but due to personal reasons we instead only request a bathroom and they were very understanding of the situation.

Overall the renovation was a success, 3 piece bathroom taking a couple weeks and reasonably priced. All customizations were captured and done perfectly (tiles, paint, framing, rough in etc.)

Estimates may seem higher compared to other contractors, but looking at quality of work and effort you will definitely get what you pay for. Highly recommend Right Choice Renos for any home projects
