During both of these jobs, they took time to talk with us, provide alternatives and make suggestions to help guide us.

We recently had our kitchen renovated by Trafford Contracting and we were very pleased with the results. Richard was a pleasure to work with from start to finish. He was great at communicating with us throughout the entire process and always made sure to keep us informed about the status of the project.

His subcontractors were always very polite and courteous. I also appreciated how Richard was flexible and accommodating when it came to making changes to the project. He was always willing to listen and do his best to incorporate them into the final design.

Trafford is professional, thorough, and ON SITE working! Imagine that. Amazing crew and best craftsmanship we have seen over the last 20 years of home improvements.
Of the 4 basement quotes, his was best timing, cost and always uses permits.
Also use Trafford for much smaller jobs. Always accommodating and responsive.

We couldnt be happier with our new kitchen. Richard and his team made my dream of a farmhouse kitchen come to life. The expertise and attention to detail were beyond compare.
This is our second renovation with Trafford General Contracting (the first was a large screened in porch).
We are looking forward to a third renovation sometime soon.

Our goal was to slightly enlarge and modernize our bathroom and install a soaker tub. Richard was extremely helpful with suggestions at the planning stage, with recommendations on bathroom fixture selection and purchase, and placement of niches and light fixtures. All the work showed a careful attention to detail, down to the trim to close off the small gap between the wall and vanity cabinet. In the end the bathroom was converted to an oasis. We'll let the pictures do the talking!

We were also very impressed by the professionalism of Richard's team and his selected subcontractors. Everyone was courteous not only to us but also to one another. We felt everything was in good hands.

We appreciated that everything about the contract, and all change decisions, was well documented, and all expectations were clear and in writing. There was never a sense of uncertainty. Everything was finished on time, as projected.

This was our second time working with Richard and we were just as impressed this time around as we were the first time! Richard and his team are professional, organized and responsive. Excellent job on total tear down of old deck and shed removal and replace with clean deck in a small yard. Also ceiling repair of stipple and paint made the living room look new again. The care of keeping the house clean while doing and prepping for the interior work is incredible.

All work was completed on schedule, very cleanly, and all charges were clearly explained and agreed to before the work was done. I am very satisfied with the whole job and highly recommend them.

We did a complete re-do of our bathroom. Richard and the team were amazing throughout the entire process. I have included some before and after pictures to see what it was to what it is now (the dark blue walls are the pictures after the renovation was complete. The attention to detail and the friendliness of everyone was amazing. Everyone was very respectful of any protocols for COVID as well the fact that I was working from home the entire time. Every day, they would clean the area and kept me updated about any issues or items. The bathroom tile work alone is amazing! the final product is exactly what we wanted. Special shoutout to Sean and Mark. Their work was amazing! I could not recommend Richard and the team more to anyone who is considering any sort of renovations. My husband and I have already started discussions about further projects that we are planning.
