I'm a first time home owner with an old house. I knew close to nothing with renovation and maintenance in the beginning, and was looking to do asbestos testing as a first step. I feel so lucky that I came across Alex. I ended up working with him and his buddies on pretty much everything in the house. Even my neighbors were impressed with their work and kept telling me that they did a good job.
At the beginning, I submitted an asbestos testing request, and explained to every interested company that I didn't really know where to look, but I did want to test "everything" in the house and know what can or cannot be done going forward. Alex was incredibly patient from the beginning, explaining what he planned to do and was very clear about the costs. I noticed that his business seemed relatively new, but was impressed by the clear communication and expectations, and decided to do the testing with him. It was the best decision!
On the day of the appointment, he carefully looked around the house while discussing about my renovation plans, the explained in great detail about what needs to be tested, and also offered a ton of side tips on renovation, like what's most cost-effective and the best order to do stuff. It was invaluable advice.
He also brought a colleague to make sketches of the house while he took the samples, so that if we decided to continue working with him on demolition and abatement, we don't need another appointment. I knew this was extra cost for him if we did not process with him, and really appreciated how he went out of the way to save our time. I already knew I wanted to work with him, and can trust him to take the proper precautions with asbestos.
We had a quick call when the test reports came back, then I got an incredibly detailed room-by-room quote, with unit prices and measurements. It was daunting at first, but I liked the transparency of pricing, because it also means we had a good idea of what the extra costs could be if there are any surprises during the project.
Of course, with the level of detail and care, they did a great job with demolition. All the windows, appliances and plants are intact after a big job, and everything was spotless. He also gave us daily updates on progress so we know exactly how things are going.
And of course, there are always surprises when you dig into an old house. Alex communicated everything clearly and timely, with transparent quotes. He also hired contractors and buddies to help us with plumbing, electricity, installation, etc when we had to remove more stuff than planned, to help restore the house to a livable condition in time. He also always made it clear that we don't have to work with his recommendations and feel free to find our own contractors. In fact, it's almost impossible to find anyone in time in the crazy market, and it's quite difficult for them to squeeze us in so we also really appreciated this help.

Alex and his team were extremely professional, polite, knowledgeable, and a pleasure to work with. I had asbestos and black mold removed from my basement and crawl space, and they took every precaution possible to ensure our safety, and the safe removal of the mold & asbestos.

They were also extremely diligent and caring in terms of their techniques to ensure everything was removed properly, and they wouldn't stop until they had done so in the most effective and safe way.

Alex and his team were also very knowledgeable about what they were doing. As they completed each step, they were explaining what they were doing as they completed it and what they next steps for them would be. When everything was finished, they explained in great detail what they had accomplished/completed, walked me through exactly what they had done while in front of the finished product, and gave me effective and detailed next steps in terms of keeping the mold away and maintaining our clean basement.

I was extremely happy with the finished product, and I wouldn't want anyone else handling my mold & asbestos issues. Alex and his team were incredible to work with, and would 100% recommend to others and use again. You'd be foolish to go anywhere else.

We hired Restoranation Inc to repair water damage done to our dining room after rain had seeped into our house as a result of an area of damaged bricks on the exterior part of our house. They removed the concrete quickly and efficiently. They found another layer of concrete under the main concrete path and alerted me to this. They removed the additional concrete for an agreed upon additional $. They cleaned up an left my yard looking better than it did when they started the job.

We had an old shed in our backyard that needed to be demolished and removed. Alex and his team were excellent! They not only did a great job demolishing and removing the shed but were also great at explaining the process, keeping us informed about timing and cost and were a pleasure to work with.

The bulkhead in our dining room had a bit of water damage. To fix the problem, the crew had to contain the area, remove the dry wall, identify the root cause of the problem (which turned out to be clean water dripping from one of the bathrooms upstairs), fix that with the help of a plumber, scrub the air, apply a cleaning agent, haul the debris, install new drywall, paint everything to match the original color, and clean up. Alex was the one who coordinated the project and did the remediation work. He's absolutely amazing. Super professional, detailed, on time, proactive, considerate, fair in pricing, and great quality of work too. I highly highly recommend him. In fact, I'd definitely hire him again if we need to do related work in the future.

Restoranation came when we suspected mould! They were so professional and kind and provided us with so much information on mould,asbestos and water damage! We discovered we had mould in the basement of our home and Alex and everyone else did a wonderful job getting our basement healthy and clean! They were great!
