Shawn did a great job mudding and taping our basement.
Price was very reasonable and well worth the cost.

I had been working on developing about half of my unfinished basement and was trying to do as much of the work on my own as I could, and was trying to keep the costs down as much as I could. I put a posting on HomeStars to get a quote for drywall installation since I wasn't confident in my abilities for drywall installation, mudding, and taping. Shawn from SB Interior Renovations came to provide an estimate. While looking at reviews of Shawn's previous work, I saw that he had done quite a bit of full basement renovations. His drywall quote was very reasonable and I asked him to then provide a quote to complete the remainder of the work. That involved hanging doors, installing trim and baseboards, installing the flooring, installing tiles for the bathroom and wet bar as well as installing some cupboards. Again, Shawn's quote was quite reasonable and I decided to hire Shawn to complete the project for me. I am so very glad that I did! Shawn completed the project much faster than I could have, and did a much better job than I could have too. He was even able to correct and/or work around any errors I had made with the framing, and overall made the project look great. On top of that, Shawn is a good guy who really wanted to ensure that everything met and exceeded my expectations. He has great family values and that good character shines through in the effort that he puts forward. I wish that I had found Shawn earlier in my project as the work would have been done better and faster and I know his charge would have been overall within my budget. Thanks Shawn for helping me to realize the vision I had for my basement reno!

We decided that we wanted to renovate the basement and I started it myself. However, it became too much of a task for me to complete and for it to be completed well. After researching some companies, some recommendations through friends as well as online,we decided with SB interiors as he was very responsive and communicated quite well with what needed to get done and had great recommendations to help the project along. Never at any time. Did we feel unsupported or being talked into any kind of additional cost outside of the scope we were looking at. The project was done on time and turned out even better than we had hoped for. I do know for any projects down the road I will be calling them again. We highly recommend SB interiors to anyone looking for a company that will give you straight answers, honest answers and being flexible with work schedules as well as the project itself. I have heard about too many companies leaving projects and homeowners out to dry or going way over budget and time. Nothing but confidence with SB interiors. Thank you everyone!.

I hired SB to replace some drywall in preparation of installing some veneer brick. This scope included replacing the rubber cove base. As you can see by the pictures cove base must be beyond SB's capability. I have tried numerous times to get ahold of them and have not received a response. This is a simple deficiency, but has not been resolved. I made the mistake of paying in full prior to this deficiency being complete. Don't make the same mistake.

Shawn was prompt with his response. Punctual and extremely polite. I will definitely request his services again. Highly recommend.
