My transition strips between wood and tile were lifted and needed to be replaced. Laszlo was quick to respond and was done the repair in less than a week. The price was very reasonable and he took pride in his work. I would recommend Laszlo for flooring needs.

We had a complex reno project involving removal of Floor tiles, Carpet and Barque!, replace the kitchen and wall removal. Finding the right mix of contractors who can help to orchestrate the project(s) was a big challenge.
We got lucky meeting The Floor-ist, Laszlo helped us Planning, Sourcing, Designing, removing the old floor and installed the new floor he educated us a lot on what to avoid and what to look for.
The same support we got from Laszlo choosing and installing the Baseboards in the house also.

After acquiring several quotes, Laszlo came in within budget but more importantly, his quality of work from references were great. He was professional, on time and took 2-3 days for complete install. He also made sure to clean up and keep all his tools organized and off to the side. The hardwood install came out beautiful, receiving a lot of compliments. I will definitely be referring him to family and friends, I will also be calling him back for more work we need done.

The floor-ist restored & made our 1980s stair steps modern matching our new floor. At first we’re worried about the dust since we have a lot of electronics. But Laszlo made sure he’ll cover the areas where it will be dusty. We were surprised seeing the place as is and clean. He’s workmanship & professionalisms made us decide to give him the next project for our condo. We had 5 estimates but we felt confident with soft spoken & the price adjustment with Laszlo. Our neighbor loved what he did on the staining, and will schedule theirs for The floor-ist.

Replaced old carpet on two flights of stairs , landing and bedroom with existing hardwood in rest of unit. Very thorough, professional and friendly. Laszlo has great attn to detail and took pride in his work !
