Nick's Developments

During the heavy rains from several weeks ago, our roof at the back of the house started to leak again. Truth be told, we had it superficially fixed back in 2011, and were now reminded by the sight of a dripping ceiling in the kitchen area that patchwork was not the right solution. Homestars came to rescue as we read through TorontoGeneralConstruction's stellar reviews: enter Nick, the owner, who from the very first conversation over the phone was extremely accommodating and helpful. After sending him pictures as instructed, he provided us with an estimate and a couple of options. In spite of his busy schedule, not only he committed to the job, he also showed up at our place as soon as weather permitted over the following weekend, when he confirmed the original estimate and scope of work. In all, we decided to properly install new flashing at the back in order to weatherproof it. Moreover, Nick's onsite inspection revealed a damaged vent and the plywood underneath which we also replaced at the same time. Nick is a very generous person and comforting to deal with. His work ethic is outstanding and only matched by his dedication to customer satisfaction. To top it up, Nick graciously offered us a free roof tune-up (including detailed inspection and caulking). He then followed-up to ensure everything was fine as rainy days continued on and off; his service warranty is a welcome addition to the package. Given his subject matter expertise, he earned the top position as the go-to provider for our household renovation projects.
