Steve and his team did a great job. Very quick and clean as they pruned several branches on a large tree in my backyard. Brittany who coordinated this job was courtesy, professional and quick at returning calls. Highly recommend!

I am extremely impressed by the work and professionalism from the McDonald Forestry team. They trimmed 3 large elm trees in my back-yard and left the area much cleaner than they found it.

The owner provided a prompt and fair estimate for my three massive oak trees in the Beaches. They kept in daily contact via email re. the status of the job.
His crew worked very hard and kept the yard tidy. The job took longer than expected because of the condition of one of the trees, but they kept at it until the job was done properly. They honoured the original estimate even though I know it was taking longer than expected. Highly recommended!

Steve offered solid advice. Then, on the day of the job, he and his crew showed up when promised and did the work well and efficiently. They also tidied up. Very trustworthy.

I had a tall spruce that started to uproot during a day with very high winds. I notified McDonald Forestry Tree Care Services, and they came the same morning. The tree was removed, cut up, and the branches mulched in less than an hour. Very professional job. I would highly recommend Steve and his people any time.

He was quick with an impressive quote & booking the job, brought a first class crew who were efficient, professional, did a fabulous job and cleaned up beautifully. Steve McDonald answered my phone message the same day. He provided me with detailed information and told me of his qualifications. I was hoping to fight a city order that required us to remove a much loved tree. Steven said that he would look at it and suggested many ways that he might be able to save the tree. After inspection, Steve provided detailed information about why he could not recommend saving the tree. Everyone who had contact with Steve during the tree removal was impressed by the professionalism of the crew and the neat job that they did. They protected the surrounding grounds as they worked. The crew all wore safety equipment. Steve's quote was significantly lower than another quote that I received.

They came and took down my tree while I was at work. They were so clean and efficient that if I wasn't missing the giant tree in my backyard I'd have never known they were there. The ground the stump down, and we're mindful of my neighbours property.

They were so good my neighbours called them soon after. Great folks.

Steve responded the same day I called. He assessed the tree damage and explained how weight could be removed by taking away three large,approximately 40cm in diameter limbs. these limbs hung out over both my house and a nieghbours. He also suggested that a reinforcing cable be placed connecting the two ,remaining limbs. This would help to reduce stress. That evening an estimate was e- mailed to me that was much less than the other estimate. We arranged a date for the work. He arrived at that date on time. He seemed to always work with safety in mind. His assistants wore hard hats safety boots and ear protection throughout the day. His team lowered all limbs with care between the houses. Finally, even my neighbour was impressed with his clean-up and the final price was the same as his estimate.
